Stop Aweber Autoresponder Once Someone Signs up for Something??

I have a list that promotes a free membership place. I just got an email from one who needed some help and they're signing up. That made me realize something... They're only on like message #2 out of like 5 messages. They're going to keep getting the series although they've already signed up.

Is there a way to auto-stop if they sign up for something or anything? Does that make sense?

That would be a question for Aweber support. They are very good. Actually sounds like a good idea for a wordpress plugin but I'm not sure what the Aweber API looks like. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

You can use the unsubscribe-on-subscribe automation
    feature within AWeber:

Can I Move Subscribers From One List to Another? :: AWeber Knowledge Base (no affil.)

Use this feature to unsubscribe them from your initial list
when they join the other free membership list.

I don't know if it's your own product, but here is what you need to do:

      1. If it's your own product, it's pretty easy, just have a look at the links above.

      2. On the other hand, if it's not your product, here what I would do if I was you:

I'd ask them to sign up to another list in aweber (and you create automation to remove them from your list after you signed up)

For this, you would have to create a page with a signup form.

      Regards,
      Franck

You can stop them from getting msgs by going to subscribers and searching there email. If its an affiliate product thats what you can do.

If its your own product you should create another list just for buyers and put the buyers opt in form on the thank you page after they purchase something from you.

Then what you want to do is configure the automation settings here:
    https://www.aweber.com/users/settings/automation

Using this tool, anyone that signs up your buyer list will automatically be transferred from your free list.
