Selling/sharing my products without permission what can I do?

Hey guys just after a bit of advice.

I have noticed there are 2 of my products being sold and shared on a few forums and sharing sites, I have not given my permission for this obviously

What action can I take regards this? has anyone else had the same problems?

Thanks

Mike

    Hey Mike

    Crappy deal hey!

Sometimes it helps to share, even better than some WSO's!

Fire over a bit of info and we will have a look for you... pretty good at finding who is doing what and why :-)

    Unfortunately it happens Mike.
I'd issue a cease and desist to the forum owners and sharing sites. If they fail to take action you can report them to their hosting companies.
Might be worth including secret links in your product or some bonus they have to prove they ordered from you to get.

    Good luck

        Hey Mike,

I am afraid thats part and parcel of the online world. I know a few product owners with this complaint. I have been able to turn this into a beneficial thing for them-

        1. Contact the forum/blog mods and tell them the situation. See what they say and can do. Sometimes they come up with an affiliate JV or something. Most sensible guys will put you on a Do Not Share list.
        2. Go and confront those guys directly in those forums. Ask them to NOT forward it further. Request testimonials, Seek further sales references. You;d be surprised!
        3. Listen. This is the best way to to get bare-bones-honest feedback for your product.Piece of advice: People don;t normally praise stuff they get for free. Still, you'll learn a lot from there.
        4. Offer a deal to members on that forum.

Interesting way of looking at it I, think I will contact the forum owners and see what response I get, thanks
