Produce content and post it everywhere you can. To not forget, QUALITY of your content is way more important than Quantity.

If you post good content that truly helps people, they will be interested in checking out whatever you are promoting.

OK,

Every page on your site has a purpose. That purpose is to make you money. If a page is not monetized it's wasting space.

Expanding on this,

Don't rely on your sidebar to make you rich.

You need to promote in the content of your site, that is where eyeballs are looking.

If it's a blog post about removing belly button lint, include a link so I can buy the remove belly button lint ebook. It's also not a bad idea to passively mention what a wonderful and helpful ebook it was when you were dealing with your own belly button lint problems.

Design a good promotional video. A picture speaks more than words. I think that every product should present the corresponding video clips. Use youtube.

  Offer multiple opportunities to buy from your pages. In the content a few times, and on the side.
  
  Don't make a product and then look for people who "should" want it.
  
  Find out what they are already buying and offer something better or complementary to that product.

  If your price point is between $5-$35, this is a great tool that not a lot of people know of. Sell something that people want and are willing to pay for but
only offer it to those who can and will pay for it... and offer
it where they hang out online.

Listen to what people are complaining the most about here on
the forum and offer a solution to those problems.
