I need some software (but don't know how to search for it)

Apologies for the vague headline.

But that's the problem, I don't know the keywords or the
term to use to look this up.

The software would have some of the functionality of say
elance.com

- Users post jobs that they want done
- Bidders respond with their offer


For now (until the project proves viable) I just need
something VERY basic.

For example just the ability for users and bidders to
communicate and when the user decides on the bidder he
could email me.

      Thanks Harry. I'm aware of these clone type scripts but
      for now I just need a basic (ideally free) system that
      allows two parties to correspond.

      The Elance reference is just to explain the
      communication need. For example letting users post their
      jobs in my forum (or a private section of it) might
      work.


      If the project proves successful I would then think
      about something more advanced which might require
      adapting a clone script but obviously I don't want to go
      that far yet
