Do You Use USFreeAds for marketing?..if not why not?..

I have LONG been a user of USFreeAds...

I find it so powerful when used correctly that I now have 5 different accounts(pen names etc)..

Do you use it?..

What for?... and if NOT, then why not?..

Interested to hear others views..

The reason I'm asking is because just recently, when anyone buys a product on my recommendation, I have been giving out a USFreeAds ad creation bonus and it has received some really good feedback. The reason being that the people who read it all said that they were using the site like an article directory.. and not an ad serving website... so I am curious to see how many people have used it like an article directory and if those same people think it doesn't work..

Peace

Jay

I tried it for a while but never got anything out of it, there was barely any traffic coming through so I canceled after a couple of months.

    Hi Jay,
I'm surprised that you have joy wih USfreeads as I used it a lot 3-4 years ago and it was very effective but it's effectiveness tailed off for me. Maybe I need to be testing it again....thanks!

I've got a guide on using USfreeads but have not really use it yet.. There were even templates to use to post ads on USFreeads. It is quite a good guide but I've got no time to really test it out.

It doesn't have to be one or the other... the majority of my traffic is paid.. but a whole heap load is search engine organic too, from sites like squidoo, hubpages, USFreeAds..... SEO pages..

I just started using it. I only have three ads up, right now...and just a trickle of traffic.

Does long form copy work there, or do you get your best results from shorter ads?

I've been getting good traffic, but it has not translated into much money. For the price it offers a lot and I'm going to stick with it for a while longer. How has the premium option (the step above the basic pay subscription) worked for people?

I have found long copy works best..

Because of the PageRank 5 of USFA.. long copy allows you to get good SERPs positions on long tailed keywords..

Interesting stuff Jay. I have been interested in utilizing USFree Ads but the majority of what I have read is people dogging on it and calling it crap. From your post it seems most people just don't know how to put the service to good use. Do you sell your USFreed ads book anywhere? If so, mind posting or PM'ing a link?

It looks like I'm with the majority when I say that my USF results have been poor. Every once in awhile, if the site is mentioned in a specific strategy or product I'm trying out, I'll sign up(with the full html option), and use it for a few months. Every time I end up cancelling due to lack of results.

I am open to the fact there may be an effective way to use it that I don't know-and I'd be interested in looking at any information you decide to offer. Out of curiosity, is your primary goal with US Free Ads direct sales or backlinks for SEO? Thanks.

I've had some good luck with USFreeAds, though I don't have too many ads yet. I need to change some of my ads around (to mimic more closely the headline that has gotten the most clicks) and put up more ads. It's on my to-do list.

I have a paid USFA account.
I just created a site, http://oxnardboxing.info/ to sell some boxing gloves I have and then try to sell the site or advertising on the site to a local boxing business.

I created the site, then a USfreeads ad. Then I went to google and searched for oxnardboxing.info and the use freeads ad showed up before the site itself showed up in the google SERPs

I need to go in and edit the site and make it more sales friendly. HOWEVER, I am sold on the results I get from USfreeads

This is the vital key here folks ^^^^^^^

Using USFA for good SERPs positioning..

USFreeAds traffic from that site doesn't convert very well at all... but once your ad gets indexed, the traffic you receive will convert exceptionally well.. has done for me anyways

If you are optimizing your ads with the right keywords so that they'll get a good ranking when they're indexed, then could a free USFA account work just as well as a paid one? Or are the ads created in paid accounts indexed first?

I realize these questions may be "eye rollers" but I'm asking anyway. I have to stop being afraid to ask questions.

          Hey there..

I've never tried with a free account, I would think that optimising a free ad with keywords would work just as well.. but the conversions may be lower due to the content looking more like an article than a pre-sell web page

    Hi Jay

I just started using usfreeads and was wondering how they decide where ads are placed ... I have read all their info.
There is one feature ad that I have been following and it has been at the top in it's category for several days. My understanding is when there is a new feature ad it would be at the top until the next feature ad? Is there any other way to get at the top? Do keywords have anything to do with it?

    Any info would help.

    Thanks

    Hi Jay,

I would LOVE to have a copy of your report, finished or not ;-) I'll trade you one of mine ;-)

I've had an account now for more than a year, and in the beginning I got tons of views (and no conversions -- okay, I think there were a couple), and for the last several months, I've had VERY few views in spite of premium super duper upgrades and my ever improving headlines.

I'm only hanging in because I have so many adds where I have paid for a1-year feature upgrade.... (plus I'm getting 50% off coz I've spent so much $, but I'm beginning to have my doubts).

    Elisabeth

P.S.: I tend to use the redirect feature. Do you think this is a good or a bad idea. I used to think it was good, but I'm wondering if that affects my Google Rankings etc...

I use US Free Ads - I have lots of ads up....and I make sales with the ads - not a lot, but for the cost of the program it is well worth it. I try to post at least an ad or two per day - some days I post several. I have used articles as ads as well as very short ads. Some products I promote just seem to do well there and others don't.

Anyway - it's cheap advertisement and it's automated once you get it set up --- can't complain about that!

Uhm, now I have to ask a question:

what exactly do you mean by "using USFA like an article directory"?

Do you post articles promoting something and then add the link? Or review articles?
Or articles about a topic for which the advertised thing is a solution?

How long are these articles? 300 words? 500 words? Probably keyword optimized, right?

      What works well?

      Thanks a bunch.

    Hey Jay,

Mind sharing here the format of your most successful ads? How many words do you usually use, any graphics, etc. I've had a USFA account for almost 2 years now and I'm not really using it but hate to have all my past ads taken down.

I have a paid account with US Free ads and in the last two months have run about 30 ads. Some on the same product. One featured, 222 views on 10 ads= -0- sales so far.

Haven't made a dime here yet. Not sure if it would be worth blasting ads like 20 to 30 a day or what.

Any advise here beyond the long copy stuff?

        okay, here are my stats:

6483 views over the last year or so, for 33 ads, some of which I've modified and swapped against others. I.e., I paid for quite a few feature ads, which are good for a year, but when they don't deliver, I sometimes replace them with another ad.

Sales? At most a handful. I'm also advertising a few lists, and I'm getting a few sign-ups, though i'm not sure how many of them are attributable to my US Free ads. I know about one signup for sure, but other than that, who knows. I write a lot of articles for EZA et al, and that's where most of my sign-ups come from.

The USFreeAds results have been so marginal that I hardly bother tracking them anymore. Though maybe I should, just to see if they're really as bad as I think they are... After all, the premium membership does cost me $9.99 or something like that per month.

But because of my prepaid featured ads, I'm probably going to stick around for a bit longer, and I may add a few more ads.

I'm also going to try out the article marketing angle, i.e., instead of pitching, I'll provide information that sneakily leads to the logical solution for the problem ;-)

Can't wait to see how that'll work.

I also couldn't help but notice that the response there has gone DOWN hugely lately.

I mean, I used to be able to get a hundred views in a matter of days or at least weeks, and now I've had ads up there for months and they're still under 20 or 30 views.

I'll keep a close eye on it to see if this is a fluke or a trend...

Any other feedback on this would be great.

I've used USFA on and off the last few years with a premium account, but without much success - sales wise. Using the right keywords I could get my ads to the first page of google no problem, but conversions were terrible. (maybe what I was promoting sucked)

Does seem like it would be a good way to market give-aways, and as Loren says, helping mlm types cure their money woes. Haven't tried that though.
