Are amazon plugins worth it?

INTERNET MARKETING

If you're an Amazon affiliate marketer, do you use an amazon plugin, and if so why?

Also, if you don't use them, why?

The only cons I'm aware of is that they can leave a footprint... and maybe if it's a very popular plugin your site could look a bit generic. Is there anything else I'm missing?

NEVER use them. I did try them, but I've learned that I get significantly better results with unique, detailed reviews and my own text links. Makes the whole thing more personal.

I've used a amazon plugin, in which I forgot the name of it but it seemed like it was better to write detailed reviews and add the product below it.

  I don't use them, for the same reason as AnniePot.
  
  There are no shortcuts when it comes to Amazon - a well written, detailed, interesting review will ALWAYS convert higher than plugin generated content or links.
