Smart Coders... Question - site hacked

Someone has hacked one of our sites... It is advertized on Adwords and when someone clicks on the ad, it no longer goes to our site, but to some malware site.

When I type in the URL, my site is displayed. How are they doing this, and how can we fix it?

Thanks,
Kevin

Did you check your adwords account to see if its redirecting to the desired address?

You adwords acct could be compromised.

It was a static site... and we had installed a blog on it a couple years ago that I had forgotten even existed. The turds used the blog to get in and change the htaccess file and redirect to a malware site.

Wow glad you got it all figured. Thanks for sharing and letting us know what we could look for if something like that happens to one of us.
