Got a backburner project? This is what I did...
Backburner projects - something that tends to build up as we get another inch deeper into Internet Marketing.
Way back, one marketer had called them "2 AM Ideas" and I liked that term - because that's when I get those type of ideas. The next big thing types.
So, there was this project that I had envisioned way back in July LAST year. It was a simple blog geared towards AdSense income while offering some quality content.
This particular niche jumped out at me in the night and I snatched up the domain. You know, the "let-me-get-it-now-or-someone-else-would!!!!!" brand of enthusiasm.
And it had been sitting in my account since then, with NOTHING on the site.
I got around to it on this March 1st ("let's do it already"). Spent 30 minutes setting everything up, did the usual SEO I always do and the site was live.
It's only been a month and my stats are showing me almost 1000 visitors. Unique.
And the AdSense did VERY well. Why? Because I had researched well before I got the domain.
SO, do you have a project like that? Something you researched about and then put it in "To-Do" hell?
Take it out and DO something with it.
I had 134 folders in my documents that had "website ideas". I kept about 20, and threw everything else out because I chose NOT to follow through on those. Now the 20 I kept are at various stages of making money.
Hope this helps : )
