        Yes, it's a very good time to get into IM. By all accounts, the volume of goods/services sold online continue to increase significantly year-by-year. That doesn't happen without people buying.

        There are far, far more opportunities to make money online now than there ever have been in the past, too.

    To answer this question fully, you will need to choose a niche, and ask if it is a good time to get into that niche. There are always some niches in IM which are flourishing, and some which are failing. For example, this is not a good time to get into the niche of "funny George W Bush quotes", because this has been done a thousand times and, more importantly, is no longer topical. But there are always niches you can find which are doing well.

    Everyday more and more people are coming online but that also means more people will also be entering Internet Marketing themselves, so you've got more competition but also more potential customers.

      Absolutely this is perhaps the best time in years. Retail internet sales is growing at a record pace. Manufacturing and sales are now at their highest levels since 2004 according to some economic reports I've read. Also consumer confidence has spiked last month to its highest level in three years. So, yeah.
