  • Youtube :-)

When I first started out with thesis I watched some video's on youtube.. but then I got lazy and just outsourced. Thesis, although powerful does have a slight learning curve.
  • Outsource the work or if you've got the time then YT tutorials. But first check out the WSO section for custom work.
  • I agree, Youtube.com A wealth of valuable training that will cost you only some time
  • The DIYThemes Thesis User Guide might be a good place to start - lots of tutorials there on all aspects of using Thesis. And if you can't find specifically what you want in the User Guide, the Forums in the DIYTHemes site are also an excellent resource.

There are also some Thesis tutorials here:

    • Hi Marian,

I'd recommend my ebook - but then maybe I'm biased!

You can find it here: Thesis Blueprints

But check my sig for a special...

  • They have a pretty decent support forum, but it takes some time to weed out the specific threads that have the exact info/questions you are looking for.

I also own Studio Press (i think some Thesis heavyweights moved over and joined Brian Gardner) - their wordpress platform is called Genesis, but you also gain access to many prebuilt templates that look awesome and can be modified themselves.
  • I use Genesis rather than Thesis but...

The quickest way for me was to install it onto a site I use to muck about on - and then just muck about with it. An afternoon just messing around - without worrying about destroying anything - is usually enough to get the hang of things.
