Merry Monetize

Whats the best way to monetize a newer blog?, like most of us id love some extra money for Christmas, so would Santa please bring me the unbelievably huge talents and advice of the Warrior forum to help me monetize my blog below.:p

If its a lost cause, then please let me know how you like your burgers served at McDonald's, plan B is gonna suck!!

    I'd build a following before monetizing it. In the
    meantime, check your traffic analytics to see
    what your visitors are looking for.

    And you could post a poll to see what they like.
    Now you'll know for sure what they want.

    Then try to provide valuable posts and provide
    helpful affiliate links.

    Here's how I'd do it. If you already have traffic coming and you want to monetize it ...

    1) Focus on building a list. List first, everything else comes later. With a good list, you can promote promote promote. If you just put an adsense ad up, you'll make a few cents once and then your visitor is gone.

    2) Find appropriate affiliate products. Generally they pay better than AdSense. Find some products that work for you.

      Thanks Derek!.

      When building a list, is the best thing to offer some sort of guide to get people to sign up to a list?, because as it is now, my list is not really a list, more of a couple of lines:p, I sometimes think id get more opt-ins promoting hemorrhoid cream.
