Can affiliates get in trouble promoting Streaming TV and Sports sites

The white house is suposed to be cracking down on streaming websites, espcially sports. Can a affiliate get in trouble if they promoted these type of sites, or are they looking at the host of the live streams?

    In the last actions taken no just the sites hosting the streams were taken down but also sites linking to those sites.

    Regardless of whether you can get in trouble... and regardless of whether you can make some money...

    If you value your business and your reputation then knowingly promoting sites that infringe on copyrights and break other laws is not smart.

    I agree. The satellite to pc products were popular at one time for a lot of affiliates.
