Just registered my last SEO domain

I have finally come to the realization that Seo domains and I,dont belong together.Took me a long time to realize that. From now on,only brandable domains-no matter how bad I am at creating them.

Anyone else had a similar experience

I've so far only done brandable domains. I'm just getting started with keyword-match/SEO domains; have registered a few already, haven't had the time to set-up. Let's see.

You got to do what works for you. For me, keyword domains are easy to rank and I'm sticking with them until Google changes their algorithm to penalize them, if they ever do.

I'm not really going to tell you not to brand or only use "SEO" domains.

If you're having success either way, then keep doing what gives you success.

However, you should note that the infamous Matt Cutts of Google, who puts out videos that sometimes give you real information, but most times doesn't, recently posted a video on the subject.

It has been misinterpreted to mean keyword based domains aren't important.

Unfortunately, that isn't what he said. The Cutts says that branded domains are fine and don't count against you as long as your content is valuable and relevant to the topic of your website.

He stated Google will be looking at possibly reducing the weight placed on keyword based domains, but the keyword phrase in your domain still counts toward the overall ranking system of Google.

Personally, for a brand new site, if it's easy to get the keyword based domain name without gumming it all up, then I'll use it. It's best to leverage any on page factor you can that won't steal from the value of your content to your customer.

    Have a great day
