3.5 Ways To Get More People To Visit Your Blog

Hi Everyone,
I started my blog @ www.incomescene.com just about 5 months ago. I actually bought the domain 8 months prior to launching it. Whe I started out it wasn't easy getting people to notice me. I wrote a few posts, tried submitting them to social bookmarking sites, and a couple other things but the site didn't seem like it was moving.
Along the line I picked up some things which I would quickly share here. It's not that I have started getting millions of daily visitors but I have noticed VERY significant improvements. I hope this helps someone...

1. Post Regularly. I only came to undertand this in the last month or so. If you starve your readers, they would have no option but to go after someone else who wouldn't.
Besides this, posting regularly gives the search engine fresh content to crawl. Generally, having a consistent blogging schedule gives an impression of a living community.

2. Look Big. One way of doing this is to change or improve the design of your blog. For me it was getting a good logo, buying a premium theme and taking time to do a little tweaking here and there. The result was tremendous. If you have social proof, use it. Register your site with communities and tribes. When people see you everywhere, they will subconsciously come to accept you as an authority.

3. Follow The Leaders (Help Them). You should visit the leading blogs in your niche to get a feel of what everyone's saying. Comment on their blogs, tweet and share their posts. Even if they don't notice you, other people doing the same thing as you definitely will and you could build partnerships this way.

And as a side point,
3.5 - Use Reddit. Reddit is like the best social bookmarking site out there for newbie bloggers. With a very catchy title you can drive hundreds of visitors to your blog. This is very powerful.

I would leave the rest to you to ponder on because sincerely, giving too many suggestions is simply telling you to do NONE.
