What's the Best Multiple Gmail Account Aggregator

Hi Guys,

I've got tons of Gmail accounts for different niche sites and i'm looking for a way to aggregate them into one single place. I don't want to use 'forwarding', but instead was looking for something that would work similar to the way my mail is delivered using my iPad - i.e. I just have a long list of email accounts.

Any ideas for Windows based programs for my laptop?

Thanks in advance

Yes you do. Here's how forwarding works.

    1. Server gets email.
    2. Server sends email to other account.
    3. You open one connection to one server and download all your mail.

Here's how what you're asking for works.

    1. Server gets email.
    2. You open a connection to that server and download the email for that account.
    3. REPEAT FOR EVERY EMAIL ACCOUNT YOU OWN

Opening each connection is a time-consuming process. It uses limited system resources that you could be using for more productive work. Just forward your email to a central account already.

If you absolutely insist on doing this, Forte Agent is one of the better programs for Windows. Microsoft Outlook has some odd restrictions which make it difficult to use in this fashion.

      Thanks for your input!

      Quick question about forwarding -

If i have EmailAddress1@gmail.com forwarding to CentralAccount@gmail.com, when I log in to CentralAccount@gmail.com will I be able to reply to people who have sent email to EmailAddress1@gmail.com as that user.

ie can I reply as EmailAddress1@gmail.com while logged into CentralAccount@gmail.com?

      thanks

Yes, it's a setting on GMail: "When receiving a message, reply from the same address the message was sent to." It's under Settings / Accounts and Import.

Yep, I tried to go the client route and sort a ton of different email addresses from a bunch of different places including GMail. No Good.

Forwarding with the different reply addresses enabled to one GMail acct is by far the cleanest solution right now.

Another advantage is that it gives you a seamless way to manage everyone of your email accts from your smartphone.
