Aweber question?

Can you e-mail just one person on your list, or do you have to e-mail the whole list? Let's say as an incentive to sign up for my list I said that I was going to have a drawing and select one person at random to receive a free prize (one of the products I review on my site, of course). Would there be a way for me to pick an e-mail address at random from my list in Aweber and then e-mail that person that they won? Then I could post on my website something like "Congratulations to JOE SMITH from New York, NY on winning this months drawing!"

Is this possible to do?

I ask because I promote physical products, so I want to offer a physical product as an incentive to join my list.

    In the case you describe you would just pick and winner from your list. Then send them a regular email to tell them. No need to use Aweber for sending an email to the winner.

    Of course, you could also send to your Aweber list congratulating the winner and making a low-priced offer to everyone you mail to.

    I would send an email to the whole list. With the winners name in the subject line.

    Ask the winner to reply to the email to claim their prize.

    This way the list can see you are a man of your word and you can also include details about an upcoming contests and be sure to be on the look out.
