I can tell you that it will be a long time before you get 10K income if you are starting with nothing. If you have a big advertising budget, you are in good shape though.

I would try being an authority first for the big bucks but it will take time.

$10,000 a month is around $300 a day.

Supposing your average affiliate commission is $30 then you have to make 10 sales a day.

So now you can do some tests and see what an affiliate program will provide and build a site to see how many sales you get then do your sums.

The main things you need are a powerful domain which ranks well easily in search engines or a huge network of customers to make money using affiliate marketing. These are the basics needs and every one who has these, can earn even more.

Here is what I suggest:

1) Begin building a list of subscribers
2) Ask them what their challenges are
3) Find 5-10 affiliate products that will solve their challenges
4) Automate in your email campaign the presentation of those affiliate products, doing careful tracking to know which affiliate offers are converting and at what rate
5) Based on sales, determine how much revenue you are generating per subscriber
6) Focus on generating enough subscribers per month to hit $10k per month based on the revenue per subscriber

You should have to make your website and achive atleast 500 traffic then you will earn better income.

Get a list of subscribers and start promoting or write product reviews and optimize with seo. Those are 2 techniques that can make you 10k a month with affiliate marketing.

Whatever you do, be methodical about it. Don't take the $100 in your pocket and run over to the WSO section and buy up a bunch of stuff. That would be good for the guys making 10k a month, but you'll just lose $100 bucks.

Learn to write good copy. You MUST learn to write good copy if you're going to produce a product or service. Otherwise you may as well keep your real job. Read Clayton Makepeace or John Carlton to get started.

Find a niche that interests you and then read read read about it here, as much as you can. If you use the Search feature on WF you can find EVERYTHING you need to be successful w/out spending a dime.

Asking questions like, "How do I make 10k a month...." won't help you much. Ask more targeted questions about specific niches, tasks and insights. A lot of well-versed marketers will avoid questions that are too generic, but are happy to provide excellent advice for a well formed question.

It's VERY EASY to rank first page for keywords with 50,000 searches a month. Set up a few blogs, put in a couple hours a day. Within a year if you're dedicated you could be on 1k a day. No kidding!

Don't spend money on list managers such as aweber when you have no idea how to get traffic.

Every marketer needs traffic. Figure out how you're going to get it before you consider making money. Without traffic you won't make money.
