Keyword Research

This is just a quick post on the tools I use for keyword research. Many of you here will have more sophisticated tools, so this just for those among us who are struggling to find those hidden gems.
I use this little system of research for my article marketing projects, and its a firefox based system.
The two components of the system is the Google keyword external tool and the firefox extension called slim search.
What I do is plug my main keyword into Google, then I use slim search to give me a phrase match [quotes] of the term in google.
All you have to is select the keyword and do a right click, which brings up slim search on the context menu. Select phrase match from the slim search options and bingo!
I know there are fancy tools like Keyowrd elite out there (its on my desktop) but I have found it cumbersome to use for this type of research.
