Looking for ways to organically grow Facebook Fan page

I see a ton of WSO's and products promising tens of thousands of FB likes and fans etc. within a few weeks. I'm looking for a good and proven method to slowly and steadily build a laser targeted FB page following. 10,000 likes in 12 months is fine with me, as long as they're laser targeted to my niche. Any recommendations?

    The problem is to build the list with people who are actually interested in your product. You can throw a thousand friends at it and it won't do you any good if they aren't in your niche. My best success has been building it gradually by having my link to facebook on my website and also from twitter to facebook is a good way.

    If you are active on other pages in your niche and posting on them as your fanpage you should see your likes going up steadily. Post polls or contests on those other pages with the largerst followings in your niche.
