Start with the Warriors for Hire section right here on the forum. There are some fantastic writers with a wide range of rates so you should be able to find someone within your budget.

As a note of advice, as it sounds like this is your first experience at hiring a writer, be sure you don't go only by price. That's unlikely to have the results you want. Check out their reviews, particularly if any are by people you know and/or respect.

The only person I can recommend from experience with report/ebook writing is Doug Hanna. He did a 10-12 page report for me a while back that was well-done. I'll try to find his username for you.

Trust me on this one, you're much better off writing the e book yourself. If you do want to get someone to write it after all, I suggest o desk but be prepared to pay the going rate for a native english speaking writer.

I just wrote an 1900 word ebook myself...it was a decent amount of work, but in the long run I'm glad I did it myself!

Alright I've written the ebook...now how do I get it to the people after they opt-in? I'm using aweber btw.

First question, should I use the confirmation email option?

Next question, how do I get the product to them?

Once they opt-in and click the button, where should I send them? Blog, thank you page, or what?

Do I deliver the product as a download, or do I create a hidden webpage and have it hosted there?

These basic simple things always seem to bother me the most...thanks for all the help guys!

By either having a link on a download page OR attached to the email in the autoresponder.

Thankyou page with either the download link, an affiliate offer or sales letter

Do I deliver the product as a download, or do I create a hidden webpage and have it hosted there?

I just host my on my site. At the end of the day you're giving it away so does it really matter.

BTW I have the ebook written and already converted to PDF....do I need to try and lock it or disable the copy function somehow to semi-protect it?

Try attaching it in your first autoresponder email. I would also make sure you have a download link some where just incase they don't get the message!

You'd need to create a download page, and upload the PDF to your host. The download link would point to the URL for your PDF. Here's a really simple tutorial on how to do this, in case you're unfamiliar -
