INTERNET MARKETING

Just posted my first backlink. My traffic has gone from virtually nothing to double digits in about thirty minutes. Yay, me!

I am about to die from excitement. I guess this whole driving traffic thing actually works. Just goes to show you, that if I read the same piece of good advice about 2,000 times, it eventually sinks in.

Now I'm off to rinse, lather and repeat...

Just remember not to give up (keep going!) - we often have to do the hard drudge work for a while before we reap the benefits. But boy, is fun when it actually starts to work, huh?

  Try writing guest posts every week, at least three per week. Keep going after bigger and better blogs and you'll have tons of traffic in no time.

  Oh, I AM obsessed. I told my husband that, and my kids, and the rest of my family, and anyone who would listen. I had three $100 orders last week and didn't have to wait for months from the previous orders. I said, 'THIS is why I spend so much time in the office working on my site... MONEY.'

Like me with css style sheets...took TWO YEARS but when it finally sank in, I couldn't wait to redo my website - all 190 pages of it! LOL

  rachelberry007, I posted my link to a forum where my target audience lives. I am targeting a micro-niche that I have a lot of experience with, and my primary audience spends 99% of their time hanging out in a handful of forums asking each other questions. Today I got a hot tip and posted some critical time-sensitive information that I knew would benefit them. So far, it has paid off big-time. We'll see how long the spike lasts.

Forum-specific traffic spikes are wonderful. I did the same thing last month, and for two weeks, had lots of traffic to the particular page and post that interested the forum members. To this day, my backlinks generate about 25% of my traffic.
