    Hey Mindz,

In my opinion you should start by building up one niche site and have it ranked for a decent volume low competition keyword. Once you start to see profits .. Rince and repeat.

Do you have money to spend, or do you want to go the free/cheap route?
      What skills do you possess?
What experience do you have already/how new are you?
How comfortable are you with speaking to people?
What technologies do you already have? (Website, list, etc)

To at least narrow down what you actually are aiming to do...

If you're comfortable with FTP and some basic HTML (which I'd imagine you are, if you are a computer science major), then you're already miles ahead of many newbies!

If you're comfortable doing offline marketing, you could set up local geo-targeted sites, rank them in Google, and then market them to businesses for a quick pay off. If you're not really wanting to do any offline stuff, you could set up affiliate sites to market physical Amazon products and/or digital products from Clickbank and elsewhere.

Pick one thing, regardless of what it is. If you just keep hammering away at it, you will succeed.

    Sounds simple, but it isn't!

There are shiny things everywhere that will try and distract you. Ignore them all, succeed.

If you plan on being an internet marketer - invest in a war room membership. The wealth of information on there is mind-boggling.

As for what you actually do beyond that -what interests you? There's so many different ways to make money online, each involving a different sort of skill or task... what's important is to choose something you enjoy so you don't burn out

Take the free course over at The Challenge. It will probably cost you about $20.00 to buy a domain name and hosting, but they take you all the way from market research to making your first online sale.

A number of successful internet marketers have started that way. But if you are willing to take massive action, you can achieve massive success.

If you have that much time each day I would start providing a service. It could be site building, content creation (writing or rewriting), SEO, graphics, copywriting. Man I could go on and on. You could become a virtual assistant as well.

You could always start a Google News site. With that amount of time you would be able to cover a wide range of topics, then once accepted into Google News bank it with Adsense and CPA.

If your looking to create more passive income, I would pick a niche, start a site and start cracking out articles like my life depended on it. Create a product, build a list, and promote promote promote.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

Sure you can pick one thing and run. When you dedicate all your energy into one thing, you will succeed. You can also have a strategy. This means you can incorporate different things but all in a comprehensive strategy. Plan your time accordingly and value it as equal to money!

Sounds like you're probably wanting to take the free route, since you've not mentioned anything about making an investment in your marketing.

If you're short on money and you're wanting to earn some initially, I'd suggest offering services as a way to learn more about IM and also be able to make some money quickly and consistently.

It appears that you can write halfway well, so you could start offering article writing services. In addition to that, you could also offer other IM related services (you can learn this along the way if you're brand new to IM) such as blog set up, graphics, backlinking, etc.

By doing this, you accomplish the multiple goals of making some money quickly, and also picking up some valuable IM experience together with the consistent work ethic necessary to make it in IM.

You should be able to make dramatic progress if you have 8-10 hours daily - initially, you can devote 4-6 hours on services to make immediate income, and the rest on IM (whichever route you decide to take, it'll probably take some time for you to start making money consistently with IM).

You could certainly build a site in a niche that you are passionate about, or you could the offline route. If you have that much time, you could certainly meet with local clients and build an SEO, Social, Web Design type company.

I would start by putting up a wordpress site that I thought would make me a ton of cash. Probably something in a big niche that will allow you to cash in for the long term.

Then, I would write, write, write, and write some more. I would write until I has so many posts and articles out there that my traffic numbers are huge. If you hate writing or are not good at it you can outsource it.

I would submit my articles to numerous directories and hire a service to submit a few all over the place for backlinks and traffic.

Once I got to a reasonable amount of traffic I would work on my site until I achieve about a 10% conversion rate.

Then, I would rinse and repeat with a new site.
