Submitting The Same Articles to EZA, Articles Base, & GoArticles

I know all about dupe content being a myth, so my question isn't about that... Plus, I write for syndication (not clicks), so it's not a concern even if it was true.

My question is:

Should I wait until my EZA submission is approved? Or can I just plop them all in at the same time.

I've read the TOS. And as far as I can tell they don't have a problem with your article being on other directories, as long as they all belong to you.

Just want to double check with you guys, before I get any of my accounts suspended.

All EZA requires is for the article to be YOUR article. If it is already published somewhere else, the name must match - and that means the pen name must match if you are using pen names.

From my personal experience - some of my articles in one particular niche that ranked very high in Google (first and second page) were demoted after I submitted the same articles I had submitted to EZA to other directories and my own websites. This was well before the latest update. I'd be very interested to hear if this has happened to anyone else.

The biggest problem comes with some guy stealing your article from GoArticles (which publishes it immediately) and then putting it on his site without your name on it. EZA, which is slower, will find this and email to sort it out. This means getting the thief to remove the artice or credit you.

      Exactly so.

That used to happen to me when I very first started, before I realised what a huge mistake it was to submit an article to EZA before getting it published and indexed on my own site. I really didn't realise how easy it was to outrank all these article directories with one's own site. It embarrasses me to admit it, but I used to think that EZA was some some sort of "authority site" and I'd "therefore" struggle to outrank it. Silly really, obviously.

Yes; this is the only problem I'm aware of ... but I get everything I submit to EZA published there overnight anyway, so I don't think it about it any more. I do appreciate that for people not submitting to EZA as regularly as I do, and not getting such fast acceptance and publication, there may be an issue there.

Can't figure out how to quote part of a message yet....

Alexa... I think EZA may HAVE been such an authority a long time ago (years) it was much easier to get EZA article paged ranked high in the search engines... but not so now. Do you agree?

I am VERY interested in seeing the response on this one.

          PREDICTION:

Alexa's going to explain the difference between "article marketing" and "article directory marketing."

          I'm just teasing... :p

When I used to do this, I always posted to EZA first and waited for it to be approved. Now I only submit 100% unique articles to the directories. Also, I have changed my thinking and submit for the backlink and the click.

If I'm taking the time to write unique articles I want to optimize it to get as many clicks as I can.

Most everyone seems to be working way too hard here. All I do is just submit the same articles to EZA and perhaps one or two other article directories as well as my syndicated network simultaneously.

Backlinks or ranking have no relevance at all; virtually all traffic comes from real live targeted eyeballs reading my articles.

This is perhaps the epitome of "article marketing" - syndication. It works especially well in extremely competitive markets where websites get buried 10,000 pages or more from the top.

That's the gist. I'm quickly becoming a fan Paul... Thanks!

We have in this thread some examples of both, plus an article spinner as a bonus.

Never even considered that one. Thanks!

I know of people having their EZA accounts banned for this exact reason - and EZA seems less understanding these days.

If you don't know me, I'm the #1 author on ezinearticles. I don't tell you that to brag, I tell you that so you will trust me when I say what I am getting ready to say.

    Here is the proof:

    top expert page on ezinearticles

Ok..here it is: if you submit the same article to the multiple directories, only one is going to likely show in google results. So the others are a waste of your time. Plus, they only add dup content pages to those article directories. That is not good.

There is only ONE time when you should submit the same article to multiple directories..and that is when you are working on building links for search engine rankings...but NOT for content. And ONLY do this will lower rate article directories - NEVER
    ezinearticles, goarticles, hubpages, etc.

I hope I haven't been too direct...but this is the way it is

Thanks for your input! Your author stat is impressive.

And I don't mind forwardness as long as it's in the spirit of helping, which seems like your intention. (Trolls are another thing. )

I'm not too worried about my article ranking on "Big G" though. I'm more interested in getting my traffic from ezine & newsletter publishers, bloggers, etc. I know that some of these guys pick up their content exclusively from certain article directories without hitting up search engines. (I know because I do it. )

Your advice will, however, help those who are trying to get their articles ranked. So thanks!
