You can post the articles to EzineArticles, GoArticles, or ArticlesBase. I would say those are the top 3. For press releases, they need to be more of a news style and you can try prlog.org.

I agree with mike you can post and submit your site to the leading article directories like ezinearticles, goarticle, articlebase or even at knol.google.

Come to think of it, how does Knol work out for people?

Ive started posting it to my website to keep it updating regularly.

Also can I submit it to article engines and press releases?

What are the main article sites to submit content too and press release sites?

Finally who are the best warriors to hire to do this for me?

Are these the best approaches to maximise this private offline content?

    As an alternative...

It might work as an authority site - you could break it down into easy to digest, quick reads without a lot of work (assuming you already have it in digital format; or simply keyboard in what you need from printout of typed manuscript).

Say, half a dozen major topics as the index page for a directory of half a dozen or more related subtopics.

You've got the basic content, all you need to do is reformat it for the web! And basically that's newspaper style - inverted pyramid with the most important stuff first, short sentences, short words, active tense, yada-yada-yada.

Since google is getting thoroughly anal about "original" content, you might be able to get the biggest bang this way. You'll need to make it readable for your audience and keep the bots happified at the same time. Read the tutorial at this same site along with special emphasis on this page:

Are you hoping to use to draw search engine traffic to your site to promote or sell a related product?

Or, are you just using it for a content site for AdSense?

If the former, follow the advice offered by others.

If the latter, why not package and sell it as an eBook instead of working for AdSense pennies?

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

You can also turn your content into videos. If you are camera shy write a script and outsource it.

What is your book about? Consider setting up a simple sales site and selling the book as an ebook via Clickbank, then other people can advertise it. You will need to contact some people to try to promote the idea, but worth a go.

    thats great, thankyou guys.

For the different article submission sites. Can I submit the same article to all of them or do I need unique content for each of them?

Honestly some say it doesn't matter, but if it were me I would make it unique. You can do this by high quality spin, or rewrites. You can hire someone do rewrite a 500 word article for like 3 dollars or less. For high quality I would be willing to pay 4 or 5 dollars. Some of those directories will not accept articles that are listed on other websites.
