Clickbank link cloaker

I may be very slow on the uptake - or it may be a new feature. I just found that CB have their own link cloaker.

Just used it and it seems to be working fine.

That's a HTML and PHP redirect which is widely known and free. There's also HTACCESS redirects as well that work fine. The hard part occurs when you have hundreds of links and need to manage them. Creating hundreds of pages for a simple redirect become unproductive. That's where link cloaking software becomes useful (like my PHP Link Cloaker). It stores links and clicks in your own MySQL database for quick and easy access and updating.

Neat - I guess that's the one I'm using... forgot where I got it from but looks like it - or actually maybe not, my version comes from "harleyquine.com"

Do they have their own link cloaker?, I wasn't aware of this.

I use Samurai link cloaker, fantastic for redirects and masking, definitely worth the investment in my opinion.

Do any of these cloak the affiliate id when it goes through to the affiliate page?
I can redirect fine but once it gets to the other persons page it shows my click bank id and i have no idea how to stop that.

        Hi Mate,

They have had that link cloaker for a while.

The sad thing about it...you still have to copy and
paste code and upload the file to your server.

Not good if your lazy like me

There are a heap of other cool link cloakers out
there that will make the job easier like this one.

        Click-2-Cloak

Enter your details and it uploads the cloaked link
to your website automatically. You even get the
new cloaked link emailed to you right away.

And its free...it also happens to be mine

I use it all the time.

        Take Care,

        Michael Silvester

I've never found cutting and pasting to be all that labor intensive.

My cloaked link goes in a folder on one of my sites called "recommends" with a subfolder named after the product.

    The link becomes mydomain.com/recommends/name_of_product.

If I need to change the link, I need change it in one place only.

    Not hard, and free.
