I finally got myself 50$ to invest in online business which includes everything domain buying and etc.

I am interested in starting up an iphone blog because there is no such iphone blog which is related to my country.

I just need real guidance on how to use 50$ to kick-off!

Depends on how quickly you're looking to turn a profit.

For short term cash id recommend perhaps sending ppv or ppc traffic to CPA offers or a review site.

Well domain/webhosting are certainly solid places to start when it comes to making a business online.

Have you thought about how you'd like to monetize your blog?

If you know absolutely nothing then you need some guide or something to follow. When it comes to blogging I recommend either Nanobloggers or the Blog Masters Club. It's gonna set you back more than 50 US though...

      Domain $8
      Hosting $10
      Blog FREE (WordPress.org)
      Theme FREE (WordPress.org/extend/themes)

At this point you want to either start writing content yourself or pay someone to write some articles.

You also need to decide how you're going to monetize your blog and which keywords/audience you're targeting.

There are many directions to go from here. With the $32 you've got left get some coffee and snacks because you've got a lot of work to do.

First spend few bucks to buy Domain and Hosting. Then do a keywords research and fill the content as a WP blog. For the rest of money, you can spend for Backlinks. That's the key part. When you get high rankings you will be able to earn much with Adsense, Amazon or CPA. Then repeat the same steps

I agree, springing for an inexpensive SEO/backlinking service will save you a lot of time, and frees you up to concentrate on creating content for your blog. In the meantime, search out related CPA and affiliate offers that are congruent with the content you'll be inserting into your iPhone blog.

      I disagree only slightly here.

Start with the keyword research BEFORE buying the domain. If you get a domain which fits your chosen keywords, it helps. Starting with a random domain doesn't mean you can't succeed, but it's like tying your shoes while the starter fires the pistol. In a marathon, it's not a big loss in time, you just lose a little traction at the outset.

My advice is if you can afford to invest $50 a month, do it. I invest about $100 each month, and over the last 6 months have built up a great set of tools which help with finding keywords, high quality backlinks and other resources that I am using to build a business. Remember, you are trying to build a business here, so take the time to build your resources and knowledge.

I wouldn't follow any of the advice given so far.

If you're brand new to this, be careful how you spend your precious few dollars. I certainly would recommend any paid traffic at all. If the person who suggested that can show a newbie how to throw $50 at it and make a profit as easily as he implied, I'll be very impressed. But I don't see that happening.

If you really want a blog, you can start with free hosting. Otherwise, get a coupon code for HostGator and you'll get your first month for about a buck. I remember starting out with 000webhost, it was free and they didn't stick any ads on my site. That was a while back though, and you'll have to do your own research on who offers something like that today.

Godaddy offers coupon codes all the time. Anything from 30% off to .com domains for a couple bucks. Lately, many of them are for new customers only, which should be fine for you. A tip for everyone else, though, is that you can sign up for a new account from the same I.P. address and even use the same credit card to pay, and get the new customer discount anyway.

Keep an eye out for these coupon codes. When they come up, they make the front page on sites like Slickdeals.net

Seriously, keep your money for now. You can really get the ball rolling without spending any money on traffic or educational materials (there is so much information available for free, it's crazy). A war room membership wouldn't be a bad idea if you really want to go that route.

Pretty soon, though, you'll have a perfect opportunity for that money. For example, a professionally designed logo is a great way to step up your image. That can be had for $20 or so (for a simple but nice one).

You'll probably want to build a list with your blog also, which means you'll need an autoresponder. As long as you actually use it, I think something like Aweber or Constant Contact is one of the best investments you'll ever make.

For a brand new site, any SEO work that you pay for will be really hard to get a benefit from. The cheap services don't work so well on a site that's new, because it has no trust with Google (no pagerank, no history, etc). Obviously a good SEO plan would cost you a lot more than $50 to outsource. Do the SEO yourself.

The comments here are helpful however I'm with brendanfinn.

You can start with free hosting and save your money for something great at the right time. I also understand that you made this post because you're ready to spend $50 on that great something, in which case I also say go for it. Just remember you can get free hosting for now if you choose too.

Besides having a blog with good content, I recommend getting backlinks.

Just search this forum. There are at least hundreds of threads with dozens of methods.

I don't know what country you were referring to, but keep in mind that worldwide searches and demand for products doesn't necessarily reflect the demand in your country.

Find out the top few things that your target audience is looking for.

If you can manage an additional $7 grab Scrapebox at cheapskate - ScrapeBox

It is absolutely worth 10x more.

After buying Scrapebox I'd put together a ton of Squidoo Lenses, Hubs, etc, and use Scrapebox to help rank them. Once you're making a few bucks you can move onto your own domains. I never recommend relying solely on third party sites like Squidoo, but in this instance I'd suggest using them.

There's a lot of free Scrapebox tutorials floating around to help get you started. My favorite, though slightly advanced, is: Hi-Jacking Backlinks

Edit: If you're new to all of this I'd hold off for just a bit and learn what you can. Once you're comfortable, then start spending some money. But try to avoid going into "information overload." Create a plan, stick to it, and duplicate it if it works.

I spent $50 just last week on Facebook ads and ended up getting about 4,000 highly targeted followers/likes for my niche businesses that I can advertise to for years and years to come.

I don't know of anywhere else where you can get that kind of a following that generates you long term revenue for a measly $50. :-)

There is a TON of power in Facebook ads if you know what you're doing.

    Hope that helps!

The thing in which I am confused is that whether :-

    1) I should create a blog regarding my interest and continue to invest time + money and wait for the return.

    or

    2) Find any profitable niche and do the same!

first - congratulations on saving up $50 to get started - that's awesome and I know how difficult it can be.

as to the question above I'd answer this way - you wouldn't buy a car before having a job, right? same thing.

you don't want to spend your $50 on anything that won't make you money. If you're passionate about the iPhone blog (the car), in time you'll be able to have one - but now it's probably best to wait on that because it's not really something that will start making you money (unless you find the right offer) ...

you asked for videos - I just watched this one myself - it's pretty simple step by step --

I don't know these guys but they're on the forum here and they've done well for themselves and seems like people here like them. Just follow their advice and you should do okay with your $50 ...

WSO (that's a non-affiliate link - just something i came across today in the WSO area)

... I also read a thread here that might help ... goto Google.com ... click on the "shopping" tab at the top and take a look at those items ... refresh your browser until you see one that interest you -- then follow the video above and you should do okay -- it's a wiser investment for your hard earned savings that you find something that you can sell yourself that people want to buy ... since you can't sell an iPhone or accessories, that may have to wait.

Don't spend your money - you're not ready.

You don't need to spend money to make money and if you're not making money then $50 will just disappear.

Wow, 50 bucks is so small. The only people that can reliably make money from such a small amount are more experienced marketers. For someone newer to the game, I would advise you to spend it on more practical stuff, like hosting and domain names. The lower your budget, the harder it is. Try and save a little more. Maybe 100 or 200 dollars. Then your options will be more flexible. I think the most value you would probably get would be to spend the 50 dollars on some personal coaching. This way you'll get more than your money's worth. Obviously, this money would be a token sum accepted by whomever you ask for the coaching session. Well, at least you're at the right place!

Buy a new keyword rich domain and develop a wordpress based site. Then sell the site on flippa for like 120-150$.

Investment 10$ for domain and 20$ for flippa listing. Incase you wanna buy a theme you can even do that (spend 10-20$ on a nice good looking theme). Total investment 30-60$ and then flip the website for 120-150$. An return of 60-90$ per website. Once you get the money keep rotating and doing the same stuff.

If you have $100 then I will give you some updated advice.

    Buy a War Room membership.

Get a hosting account with Host Gator to host more than one website.

Buy a domain (ideally with EMD - exact match domain so strong relevant keywords needed)

If you search the War Room well you will find all the information you need on setting up wordpress sites, how to do keyword research. You will find all the information you need.

Without the War Room membership you will struggle it's as simple as that.

If you don't go for the War Room membership then DO NOT buy every WSO you see, take some time and purchase 1 or 2 never go on a buying spree of WSO's or I will go one further don't become addicted to Fiverr because it's so cheap. This works in the same way you only need a handful of guides to get started and you can get those from the War Room anything else is over kill.

The main things you need are keyword research, War Room membership, EMD or a memorable domain name, hosting from someone like Host Gator. Access to guides that teach you the basics.

You really don't need anything more than that to begin with. $100 won't go a long way in IM that's for sure but it will be enough to get started. If you have some money left over start saving for a website from someone like Simon74 or Candace as you will see a quick return on those sites which is what you need when you start up.

Steve, I couldn't agree more. $37 for War Room membership, and getting a domain name together with hosting (shouldn't cost you more than $10 your first month) would equip you pretty well to get started for under $50.

You may have some issues monetizing the first site you build quickly enough to pay for the second month of hosting, so if money really is an issue, offer IM services such as blog set up/graphics/backlinking to tide yourself over for the time being, and also provide additional money to invest in more domains and tools to facilitate more rapid expansion of your business!

I was in your same situation like a month ago. So, I'm no expert but I am frugal. I went with a paid domain for 10/yr free web hosting, then I uploaded wordpress and found a free wordpress theme. After that, I wrote content with affiliate links--in text. Then I bookmarked through social poster and commented on dofollow blogs to build links for my site. Within 3 weeks I made enough money to buy another domain and pay for hostgator. I'm still floating, but I think it's a decent way to start if you only have 50$. You'll still have some leftover for whatever you want.
As for research: use google keyword tool to find niche keywords, then google each keyword and check the backlinks to all of the top 5 listings. The parameters I looked for were at least 5000 global monthly seaches and a max of 1000 backlinks per page.

I am not looking to sell iphones or stuff.

What basically I am thinking of is to launch a website which caters Iphone information such as apps, jailbreaking and stuff.

I have done a keyword research work and If any expert generous enough to look at those keywords that I'll be really grateful.

I'll join the War Room for sure but not for now.

If I was in your place, I would first get the war room membership. Then I will spend time downloading and reading some excellent step by step business plans out there available for free. Most of them are written by very experienced warriors and they work for sure. Then I will select one business model which suits me the best and then if required, I will invest the rest of the money and get started.

With $50 you can register your domain, buy hosting and start writing! Don't forget to do the keyword research before!

Honestly brother - If you have found a niche related to iPhone and theres no competition blogs in your country, then you are on to an excellent little gold mine as your first bloggin project.

$50 isn't alot to be spending considering it is best to use a premium, custom-made blog theme - if your not a designer that could cost you an investment of $97 alone - but as you don't have the cash to be buying premium themes right now: get hold of wordpress and get hold of a clean, crisp iPhone related / modern stylish design for it - if you need custom graphics - i.e: Header/Logo - then let me know and I'll create that for you.

On your iPhone blog, use Google Ads in 3 places.

Above your blog posts + in between your blog posts + Once in your navigation colum, in between 2 sections of links. (coloured to fit in perfectly, use HEX codes to do the colouring to ensure they match)

You will also need CPA leads; the "get a free iPhone" offers pay and convert well.

As your blog is going to be the first of its kind in your country/language: make a simple, powerful, catchy name. Something like: "Everything-iPhone" or "iPhoneBase" etc.

(Sinse you are using "iPhone" in the title, if you choose to, check up on the laws regarding using registered trademarks, you may need to mention that iPhone is a registered trademark of Apple inc, or something else.)

From there - build the blog with nice content, get the visitors comming in!

Once you are receiving a good ammount of traffic, I recommend you create a forum community which your traffic can join into

    I hope this helps you,

    Smokee,

Put your $50 back in your pocket and leave all the well intentioned posts here. As you can tell by all the kind responses you've gotten, you're going to lose your $50 pretty quickly before you make a single dollar.

You sound like a person that wants to start a rock band but don't know how to play an instrument.

Ask yourself what is your skill set in this business you're trying to break into before you spend any money on hosting, blogs, domain names, or the latest WSO on how to make money selling the WSO on how to make money. If you don't have any, then may I suggest that you spend your time and money on acquiring that skill.

Which segues into my main point. How much skill, time and money do you have? If you have any one of the three in large amounts you can over come the short fall of the others. For example, if you have a lot of money you can buy the skill and compress the time to turn a profit. If you have a lot of time, you can gain the skill and probably need less money to make a successful business. I think you get the idea.

You need money to make money. It may not be your money, it may be other peoples money but you need money. So many business do not make it due to under capitalization.

$50 is not enough to start a business. If you have any IM skills, sell those skills, save the money and fund your business properly to ensure your best chance of success!

    All the best to you,
    -H

Oh boy...Listening to that you wouldn't start anything!

By all means do your "mise enplace" , keyword research , a thought about what your goals are , what platform you are going to use , the domain name and hosting but there come a time when you have to take the plunge and but that domain and get hosting and setup your blog and write content etc...

Do/learn , get yourself out there and provided these 50$ are not needed to feed your children then go for it.
The minimal expenses that you will incur are necessary and will commit you to taking action.

So go on take the plunge.

      To your success

Keep your money . Do not spend your $50 . Do not spend $50 .

You do not sound like you know what to do and if you do spend without knowing what to do , you would lose the $50 .

    Don't lose money

how about working on a blue print that does not require you to spend .

If you are completely new to online business then I would recommend you to experiment with free hosting, free content and free traffic. As soon as you make your first dozens of bucks you are ready to invest those. Meanwhile, for the $50 you can get yourself bottle of sigle malt scotch to help you relax or come up with more business ideas
