Is Classified Ads good for Mens Jewelery??

I am working on a website that sells mens jewelery for 2 weeks now. I have been posting classified ads to 15 to 20 top classified sites almost everyday with almost no url clicks.

i have also been working on YouTube and same there.

Can some one please tell me if the above 2 is a good way to bring in traffic to my site?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

  • Classifieds and youtube videos can be great in many instances but just think about your target audience: If you were to buy some expensive jewelry, would you browse some classifieds or youtube videos? Or would you rather google for a professional and trusted jewelry authority site, or even more likely, visit a store offline?

If your audience is looking for jewelry on a budget, those classifieds might actually work and you should check if maybe your copy isn't written well (not enticing enough, no clear call to action etc.)

whats your advert copywriting skills like?.remember use AIDA for classified ads.AIDA stands for attention, interest your prospect, desire your prospect and call to Action your prospect.Without these 4 key componenets in your classified ad your ad wont pull.ive been testing loads recently and i sell golf dvd's offline.make sure your website copy is good too.keep tracking your results and split test everything. As for jewellery, do your research and you will be fine.hope that helps

I think to sell jewelry on classified sites like CL and others would be hard. Average buyer would be looking for local person selling gold or something very cheap. I would make ad read like it was an individual selling a single item.
