Your Best Way To Invest 300$?

I have a question, that I would love to hear opinions of the fellow IMs

Let's say you take 300 dollars and say - I want to make money online, this is what I'm willing to invest. Where would you put it?

What would your method of choise be? Would you spend it on SEO, on site's design, perhaps content or somewhere else? How would you prioritise these?

As I've seen, most of the time people (esspecially those who are relatively new to IM) tend to invest as little as possible. What if you'd be able to invest something? How much is enough, in your opinion?

Gee this is a popular type of question.

It depends. The beauty of IM is that you can market anything, and what you market affects how you market. But, assuming one is just starting out, then the default things to invest in include domain name (with some KW research to pick a highly searched, low competition, profitable keyword), hosting and auto-responder. From there, it's up to you. Source out the research to create your own product, source out the content and market others' products or sell advertising space on your site.

If you're just starting then most of the $300 is going to go to product or content development. If you've already got some content, or a product, then investigate different traffic methods to invest in. Google AdWords would (probably) suck that money dry quickly so think link building and social media.

Do whatever parts of that process you enjoy and outsource the rest.

Most importantly, pick one path to the money and don't stray from it. Get to the money at the end of the path (it's inevitable if you keep walking towards it), then scale up. Good luck.

      There are a few options.

      1. Use the money to buy as many Micro niche sites as possible. Then with the rest use it on SEO services or content for the sites.

      2. Invest it offline (Many ways of doing this)

      3. Buy SEnuke X and start getting SEO clients.

I don't have your exact answer but I can offer some valuable input. One of the best lessons I ever learned comes from the old adage that refers to being more valuable to teach a man to do something than to do it for them. Therefore, one of your best investments might be the books and/or the software itself so you can learn how to do things yourself rather than waste it on someone else to do it for you. This is what I did in the beginning days and it paid off. I would even barter quite a bit. I'm a professional drummer and I traded drum lessons for Photoshop lessons, Dreamweaver lessons and IT help. True story!

Giftys has a great point! I invested in Scrapebox just the other day to help with links and SEO. The money I paid for that was way more than any freelancer could do for me link-wise/SEO-wise.

In my opinion I would invest it in those things that you can not get or do for free.

All the knowledge to make a fortune online is with in the confines of the WF and for free if you pan for them.

Unless you have your own personal server tied to the internet you can't really
access the darn thing easily without purchasing the quoted items.

Good question. Recently I was thinking along the same lines. What is the best way to spend a couple hundred bucks??

As Bambii mentioned in her post, it's important to "pick one path to the money and don't stray from it". I agree and it is critical to stay focused and not be a victim of information overload!!

I've recently invested in a comprehensive 6-month long course which goes step-by-step from setting up the basics through advanced product creation, traffic generation, marketing, and everything you could possibly imagine to build a stable, long-term online business. Each week I receive another module with a lesson and a specific action plan to get me up and running right away. It is not a get rich quick scheme. It is a detailed, focused master-plan for long term growth and financial independence.

PM me an I'll send you a link to a free report which outlines the course system or just check out my profile to visit my website.

Let me know what you think and if I can help in any way.

$300 is enough to build 20 Website. Find your trusted shared hosting company, most of them charge between $5-$6 per month plus free domain name. And buy another 20 domain and integrated with your shared hosting account. I have 3 domain at the same hosting and they all ranked well so you don't have to worry.

But find the domain that has exact keyword that you target so you can easily rank them on google with little effort. let's say that you want to target 4 hour work week so your domain should be 4hourworkweek.com or 4hourworkweek.net

    Good Luck With Everything

it depends on your ability. If you understand the niche market and how to create website then you can start at least 20 website with this amount. So you can monetize the sites for advertisement, affiliate or adsence income. If you dont know how to create a site then go to flippa.com and bid for a good site which have a proven record of income and a lot of potential.

I'd start off by doing my own keyword research and finding at least 5-10 high traffic low competition keywords by analyzing the strength of the top 10, and specifically top 3 competitors.

The keywords would NOT be in the make money online niche, but probably more along the lines of health, weight loss, beauty.

Then I'd set up a blog, nothing fancy... basically just content for each one of the keywords and I'd set each one of those main posts to be stickied to the homepage.

Then I'd pick up Mattlaclear's(sp?) guaranteed page 1 rankings.(you pick 5 keywords he guarantees page 1 for 1 of them).

While the SEO is being worked on, I'd set up an autoresponder series with a free report/video interview of local person and give it away in exchange for an optin on the blog. Then I'd create another report to offer for around $10 to be sold once people confirm.

I'd also add in a LOT of helpful content and enough affiliate promotions into the autoresponder series to last at least 6 months... though preferably 1 year. I'd look for programs that have lifetime cookies and membership sites in perticular when looking for quality affiliate programs.

Then I'd continue to build more keyword targeted articles and post them to the blog, at least 1 per week while it's new and in the works... focusing on quality content not just adding a bunch of posts to get post count up.

At this point... domain, hosting, seo, and aweber are the only fees which would come to about... $100.

Then I'd use the remaining money to buy additional SEO services from fiverr for the keyword that matt got to page 1, so it could continue moving up. Depending on the search volume.. there should already be some steady traffic and hopefully sales coming from this... so you'll also have a little more to spend.

There'd be some money left over to outsource some of the blog content, or to purchase PLR reports to give away/sell, more SEO, maybe a graphic banner, or ebook graphic. I'd use fiverr to get my feet wet, since it's cheep. And if you find someone with a lot of good feedback, you can often get a decent quality product/service.

I wouldn't recommend spending all $300 the first week, but learning how things work a little before spending more than $100-$150. Once you start getting traffic and making more money, there is room to improve the sales funnel, track conversions and make adjustments to make more profit.

There's a lot more that could be done to increase your optins, get more sales to your products, and start generating more traffic... but this is the "barebones" I'd use to get started.

Use the $300 buy a domain and redirect it to affiliate product. The rest of the money spend on traffic generation. Keep driving traffic to your website and reinvest the money you earn again on traffic. This way you will see your profit grow bigger & bigger

I would have $100 worth of articles written for me, which would go up on my site, then to the directories. I would use the other $200 for backlinking services to the site. If I was starting from scratch I would have to buy hosting and a domain name so $50 for that and $150 for backlinking.
