Some questions about PLR articles

Hello...I have some questions about using PLR articles and hope someone here can help me out.

First....where would someone use these types of articles?

Also, can they be used to submit to article directories, such as ezine or do they only want original articles? That is what I would want to use them for.

Is there usually a minimum of people they sell the same article to?

Last, can anyone recommend a few places, that don't require a membership and that they have dealt with?

Thanks so much!

You could use them on a blog, or as supplemental pages of a site where you're selling a product, in a membership site, compiled into an infoproduct/ebook, in an email series, etc.

Generally article directoroes do NOT want PLR material. You can often "get away" with it if you rewrite/customize the article enough. There are even software programs to help rewrite them.

Usually yes. But sometimes they have few or no restrictions, which means they are resold to resellers, etc.

Since you said you are mainly interested in submitting them to article directories, I'd recommend having original articles ghostwritten instead of using PLR. you can have articles written for about $5 each.

Usually article directories won't accept plr articles. they do accept gohstwritten but not duplicated content. Unfortunately, those plr articles are usually sold to lots and lots of people so You shouldn't try to submit them but usually each directory will have some rules and they will state that. You can use them on Your blog though. I mean, it's always better to have original and exclusive content... You can also use the articles to create content for Your blog! here ya go

Articles directories generally go for unique content. But if you have bought many PLR articles, perhaps you can have them rewritten and submit the new versions instead. It will be easier to rewrite... and cheaper too!

There are also lots of ways you can package and sell PLR articles. You could purchase a large collection, and divide them up into smaller and tighter sections, or vice versa.

PLR is a great way to get content for an autoresponder. You don't have to worry about duplicate content there!

some articles directories monetizing on adsense still accept PLR

but for your own benefit, it's a good idea to edit them quickly so you'll get more traffic from each submissions

Your best bet is to get freshly written articles and not plr junk.. Most plr articles are either junk or used so many times that it is sick ..

You want to use fresh articles to submit to directories and you should submit different articles to each one...

I dont use PLR articles anymore as i had to rewrite everything i bought to either make it unique content or a well written article - usually both.

PLR articles are not designed for your self promotion, where as if i write my own articles they lead directly into why the reader should visit my site, sign up to my list or buy a certian product.

Some people do use them to good effect and it really does depend on what you want to do with the PLR arictles, but i would really recommend either hiring a ghost writer, or better yet writing them yourself.

        Hi Joanne,

The article directories, especially EZA, want original articles, as do the search engines, and so does your reputation. If you use PLR articles I recommend rewriting them to make them original (check them at Copyscape) and add to the value of the article with additional information.

Of course, by the time you do the above you could have written your own article, for free.

        All the best,

        Scott

If you get plr you should rewrite them and make them completely your own

I agree you should rewrite them, I think it is still quicker than just writing fresh articles yourself from scratch.

    Hi Joanne,

When you purchase PLR articles you can do what you want with them as long as you stay within the TOS of the PLR. Usually you will buy the articles in a bundle with other related articles. What's nifty about this is you can put all the articles together into a report. Rewrite a little, add more content or other value, add pictures, etc. and make it a PDF. Now you can give it away as a little present to your list, use it as an opt-in report to grow your list, or send it to your list in a series of emails. You can also add even more value to turn it into an ebook to sell. It's much faster than creating a product from scratch. But you want to start with quality PLR, of course.

You can also put together some PLR to give as a bonus to another product, use it on your blog, or record yourself speaking it and turn it into a podcast. These are just a few of the ways to use PLR.

Some people use PLR as a jumping off point to writing their own articles to submit to article directories. The research has been done for you and the article writing should be quicker this way than if you have to start from the beginning with research.

As far as submitting PLR to article directories, you'll have to check with each of them as to their terms of service. If I totally rewrite a PLR article and it looks absolutely nothing like what I started with, then I consider it my own article.

Yes, PLR articles are usually not written with a slant towards promoting a product, so you if that's what you want it for you'll have to do some fixing. But sometimes you want to put something on your blog that just gives information freely to brand yourself as an expert, or maybe causes people to think, or even gets people to leave comments.

It depends on the PLR article producer as far as limits go, but they will tell you on their websites.

There are several people here on this forum that sell quality PLR in bundles and don't make you join a membership site. It is not all junk. Look around and you will see who comes highly recommended. Check the WSOs as the PLR writers usually offer deals there.

    Peggy
