Does having multiple hosting accounts help with Linking?

I have a hosting account where I have multiple domains that are related. If I am building each site, and creating content, and linking them to eachother, does it hurt because they are all technically on the same host/server?

Would it look better if I had a different hosting account, and then link them to eachother, so theres different IP's. Or does it make a difference at all? Thanks.

Yes, it makes a difference. If you're going to do that - definitely a diff class C IP for each.

I rarely interlink any of my sites. Unless I buy sites specifically for that purpose - like .edu's. There'd have to be a pretty good reason/benefit otherwise.

you can interlink your websites probably without problem if you have some in context link to do so but if they share the same IP conventional wisdom is that it will not pass much link juice.

Having the same IP probably won't hurt you, but having different IPs (at least class c different) will likely help you. Use different themes and content, too.
