WSO vs Warriors For Hire - Opinions Wanted

Hi..

I've been reading the stickies regarding WSO and the Warrior for Hire sections. From what I've read, it seems that the differences are:

WSO: is a special offer for members that's not avail. to the public. To post a WSO you need to be a member of the War Room and pay a fee to post the offer. You can also pay to bump the post if it scrolls into oblivion. (did I miss anything?)

Warriors for Hire: Is where members can offer services/products to other members. Also includes a posting fee and you can also bump. Do you need to be a member of the war room?

Comparing them: seems that the WSO board gets more views, which is good - but do posts scroll off faster? Warriors for Hire seems to get less views, but perhaps posts don't scroll away as fast? (not sure, guessing!)

So I'm wondering... if you've used one or both, which is/was more effective? Also - any tips or experience would be very appreciated.

Thanks for any feedback/advice/tips - they're appreciated!

that's not avail. to the public.
You pretty have it except for the part above. The product can be offered elsewhere but WSO price must the lowest price offered.

    It's really a personal choice.

I've been away from the forums for a while lately dealing with life outside of the internet heavily. So my knowledge may be slightly dated on this.. But I used to see WSO's scroll off the first page in under 12 hours some days.

It seems to me that the warriors for hire section scrolls a lot less often, but at the same time, it probably doesn't generate as many orders 'per hour' of visibility either.

This is not definitive, because it only takes one reply from a customer with a question, comment or whatever to bump something up, in either case, but as I write this message the first and last items in the WSO sevtion are dated 04-10-2011, 07:37 PM and 03-25-2011, 04:22 PM respectively (and the last post on the last entry in WSO is dated 04-08-2011 11:15 PM, or 4 days ago.)

In the Warriors for hire section the first and last items are dates: 02-21-2011, 06:52 AM and 11-25-2010, 06:52 AM respectively, with a last date on the bottome WFH item dated 04-01-2011 09:50 AM. So in Warriors for Hire, I would say your ad will be visible much llonger, but as you noted the WSO section gets far more views.

If your WSO doesn't get a decent response, you're going to drop off the first page pretty fast overall. That being said, I know a few people who have done a WSO 9with a good established reputation and compelling offer) who have made a LOT of money from a single WSO. (try selling 130 copies of something at $49 each... You do the math)

But a lot would depend on what your offer is. Mayb a WSO doesn't fit what you have? If you'rse offering a service and are willing to offer that service for a long time at the same rate, then WFH might be the better choice for you.

The OFFER is not available to the public. It's a distinction the OP may or may not have realized, I can't say for sure, definitely worth clarifying. The product or service may be available to the public, but if it is, the WSO must be a SPECIAL OFFER, whether including a significant improvement over what's available to the public, or a significant price break, etc. offering $2 off a $40 product doesn't make a WSO. Offerin $20 off a $40 product probably does. Likewise offering a product to the public or for the same price a product as a WSO that comes with 10 hours of 1 on 1 mentoring for the Warriors who buy it, (where the mentoring isn't available to the public, or is a significant additional expense).

But the bottom line is a WSO must offer warriors a much greater value than what you offer to the public, or simply not be available to the public at all.
