$323 Made In My Boxer Shorts Before Breakfast!

I live in Australia and we are layed back bunch. Infact I am writing this in my boxer shorts and it is 12:34pm ....told ya we are lazy.

Anyway yesterday I received an email from a friend son and he was saying someone wants to give me $323. I will explain....I saw this strategy somewhere and thought I would give it a try and have some fun. Took a break from my product creation stuff.


This is how I set it up.

1) Looked for cool or bizarre names of businesses. Found a unique one.

2) Checked if it had a domain name....it didnt .

3) I checked to see if I could even register two names and make sure one has their name and a benefit. Like "JoesInstantShoeRepairs.com" (please note this is just an example) or something like that. That is what I did. Be a little creative here.

4) then I emailed them as I found their email in the white pages. sometimes these emails are out of date or expired but I gave it a shot anyway.

5) I also realised my friends son was friends with the business owner and see if he could contact him.

It was funny, the guy contacted me...and i just made up a figure $323 for the two domains. He agreed. Then even better he asked if i knew anyone that knew how to design websites. Hello Warrior forum!!!

Was a fun day.

Just have to be a little bit of a ingenuitive marketer at times. Sometimes the opportunities are right infront of eyes and yet....WE JUST DONT SEE IT.
