Need Affiliate Marketing Strategy Advice

Hi Warriors,
I'm wondering if I should focus on just one affiliate product vs offering several on one of my sites. I have a site generating decent traffic ( it's in the make money online category promoting clickbank products) its making some money but would I convert more if I only offered visitors one option? I over several currently but have started thinking this strategy may scare people off and not seem as credible.

Whats the best course of action?

The best course of action is to ignore what people answer in this thread and test it yourself. Don't limit yourself to what you have been told by others.

This is the best answer for this thread..."Don't limit yourself to what you have been told by others"

If it's working for you already, just find your way to bump it up.

I do know that Kevin Hogan (persuasion speaker) once said the fewer products you offer, the less choices (easier) your customers have to make, which will boost sales.

Still, test your results. They will provide the best answers.

Here is what I started doing recently (using amazon, but works the same)...

I have one site that is "BestMyKeyWord.com" and has 5 informative articles in the sidebar along with an opt-in offer for "5 tips to getting the most from "keyword"" and lists 3 Manufacturers with a short review and a link to a separate site that focuces only on that particular product brand...

This gives me 4 chances now to rank for various keywords in this niche while offering cross-selling possibilities...

I shoud add that the "main" site is an html site and the three "product sites" are WordPress blogs and also have an opt-in for the same report in the sidebar.

The only links on the "product sites" are to the other "product sites" the "main site", the opt-in and of course amazon. So they either opt-in, go to amazon or another "product site" or leave...

The 'main' site also has access to the articles in the sidebar and a search feature.

    Hope this helps

Test test test! You need to find the sweet spot between turning your users off and your max. profit. The only way to do that is test all the options and track the results. Numbers don't lie. Generally I find it best to run different offers at the same time, but changing out your offers to keep them fresh is also very important.

Okay, because it's clickbank products, you need to build a list by offering a freebie. The freebie gets you opt-ins, but more importantly it gives your visitors a chance to trust you. That only happens if you provide value in the freebie.

Then, setup autoresonder messages to that will help your subscribers as well as convert them into buyers over time.
