    I don't feel like one particular model of business is going to be "best" or "easiest" in 2011... Or EVER for that matter.

    Whatever you feel motivated to do and are interested in learning and dedicating time to is the best business model.

    However, if I had to personally pick a model for 2011, based on the trends that IM is following and the trends Google are setting with their algorithm changes, I would pick building a single authority blog around a subject of interest.

    No autoblogging software, no tricks; just community-building and unique, interesting content creation.

    Probably not exactly the answer you were looking for, but I think that's what this year holds in store

      This is good advice, but then remember to try to get away from a dependence on Google as soon as possible. Build a list, get connected on social sites, etc. ... Using Google is fine, but you don't want Google as your daddy.

    Business is not easy. Granted, it can get easier once it's up and running, but the sooner you'll eliminate the word "easy" from your vocabulary when it comes to business, the better.

    It sounds like you already have declared what the best model is, at least from the money making 'most profitable' standpoint is.
