Wondering about cookies...

Hi!

I just saw this article on how yet another big browser has a "do not track" feature.

So, with all this happening, will it begin to render affiliate software..as in my 1shoppingcart system..useless?

If so, do you think this will be remedies with other solutions?

Just curious what y'all thought.

Thanks!

Although browsers have this feature, many people don't set it or even know what it's for. IMO it will be awhile before it becomes a big problem.

Hence, Firefox names it "Private Browsing" located under the "Tools" menu, which stores no cookies, history etc. if activated. As the previous poster said, it will quite a while before it comes into widespread use. There are multi-millions of users who don't even know what a cookie is!
