How to Make So Much Money That Your Brain Melts

Listen up --!

I haven't posted anything at all here in the "Main Internet
Marketing Discussion Forum" in a really long time. That's
because I have been really busy making money.

Shame on me.

But, it's been worth the wait because I've got something
really special for you... It's juicy.

This is based on a super cool interview I did earlier today
and I'm sharing a little piece with you... yippee!

Here's how to crush it in 3 easy steps:

1. What do you think about all day long besides
sex and an ocean of money? Seriously, what lights
your fire? What juices you? When are you in the state
of flow? When do you lose track of time of the outside
world? OK, make a big fat list of that stuff.

2. Now, circle the stuff on that list that you really,
really love. I mean it. Circle the best stuff on that
list and do it with passion and zest.

3. Finally, cross off any items that won't make you
any money in any way, without serious effort and
lot's of pain. You want a list of "money stuff"
that you can do.

That's it.

Well, that's where you start...

Now you've got a list of stuff that you can't help
but think about. It's a list of stuff that you totally
enjoy. It's also a list of stuff that will generate a
ton of cash for you. (It's a system. Slick.)

It won't get you rich tomorrow but you will be
willing to go through hell to make money since
this is stuff you totally love. It also gets your
brain all cooked up and properly oriented to the
real goals you have... like freedom, security,
deep meaning and all the hot groovy stuff that
actually matters.

Some points of clarity:

1. If your passion is "coffee" that's totally cool.
You could start a crazy -n- wild authority blog
all about coffee stuff. Coffee filters, coffee cups,
coffee grinders and all kinds of groovy stuff on
how coffee decreases sperm count or whatever.
People dig this stuff. Coffee is a topic. Coffee is
a niche. Coffee is a passion. Coffee is a major
opportunity for you with Adsense, eBay, Amazon
and plenty of other affiliate programs. You can
also write coffee reviews. You can get sponsors.
Dude, this is your ticket.

2. There's no niche selection in this process.
This is all about YOU and your life and finally
taking freakin' control. Look, if you are serious
about this internet marketing thing, you will
realize that it's not about the money. It's about
that fire in the belly. It's that raw passion and
insane drive you have. Now it's your turn to
embrace your skills. Go use your number one
weapon in this game: YOU. I mean, if you get
up in the morning and can't help but think all
about "coffee" then that energy and that raw
emotion will drive you forward. People ask me:
"How are you so relentless? Where does that
passion come from, John?"
Simple. I don't have
to create it out of thin air. I tap into it. Easy. You
are just like me... you've got drive and passion
and hope and dreams. Tap it, baby!

3. There's no such thing as working hard to go
figure out priorities. You just know them. It's
deep in your bowels. What bubbles to the top
is almost always the most important thing for
you to work on.

4. If you believe -- like I do! -- that your real
business is tied to YOU and your skills, then
the best training available is getting smarter
about your talents, knowledge and skills. It's
time to assess who you are, what you know,
what you love and all that mushy gushy crap.
Except, it's not crap. It's the real weapon.
All other training you get augments YOU. It's
the juice on the juice. Don't screw around with
any tools or technology or dumpy loopholes
in Google or whatever... until you know you.
Plenty o' books on this topic but most people
very foolishly view these books as "feel good"
mind junk... or just motivational material. No!
This is the source of power. Cranking up YOU.
The real Machine. The real Weapon.

5. You really wanna know how money can be
created? You wanna know how I create money
in my business? No joke. This is it. I provide
outlandish, over-the-top, ridiculous value.
And, how you ask, do I provide value? I tap into
my natural talents. I sharpen the weapon -- me!
-- every single day. I get others to help me get
work done that I cannot, or that isn't a good
fit for me. I give the world a piece of me. I
express my passion and my knowledge. When
you do that, you ADD VALUE to the world. And,
the world rewards you with value... and CASH.

Sounds fruity. Sounds dumb. Sounds too easy.
Maybe it sounds too hard. I dunno. I just know
with PROOF that it's brain melting and it's
the best truth I can share with you today.

Thank you.

And, congratulations on reading this and caring
and feeding your brain.

But do not just agree with me. Explain in your
own words how YOU are adding value and how
YOU express your life energy.

That's how to get rich.

~ John

p.s. WARNING! Most people will read this note
and they'll think: "That's nice but how do I go
out and make money right now!"
But the truth
is that you will start making money very soon
once you (1) know who you are, (2) what you
have to offer the world and (3) you start adding
value in the form of products, content, advice,
help, tools, systems, services and so on. If you
just go out there looking to make money, your
chances are survival are slim. Failure and hope
are blood brothers. However, if you have clear
awareness that YOU are the true weapon, any
level of wealth you desire is possible. This isn't
mindset crap... unless you believe it's mindset
crap. And if you have that attitude, you're in
deeper trouble that you know.

After I identified what I like and who I am, I started enjoying what I am doing to make money while helping others make money as well.

That's a great strategy mate. But let's say you've got a dream to create a company that buys oil fields or manufacturing plants. Those types of plans are a pretty big undertaking, and until you're at that level you'll have to make some kind of money to survive and feed your kids next week.

Eventually you will have to transition those big pie in the sky dreams back to reality and put in some work for your next pay check.

Do you have any ideas about how people with very big dreams can build up to them while still making money to live and support their family?

I think this is one of those posts you read... think you understand... then a few months later think back and say "I didn't really understand but now I do."

Only to realize that a year later (after trying stuff) you really understand.

I found that with emails and learning to write in my own voice and be my own person... some people will like what I say and others just click on 'complaint'

    Hey John,

    Agree 100%

Love this and teach this approach. Some can make money by being a numbers freak and not caring about the market, but the person who IS the market usually goes farther faster.

    Peace,
    Paul

    • Awesome. Crazy thing, and I know I'm not the only one...I DO know who I am, at my core. I know the things I want to be doing and how I can help others and provide services, content, help, etc. And, I know with all my being, that once I break out, I will make more money than I can imagine doing the things I'm passionate about and helping others.

But...ALWAYS A BUT...I'm stuck. Working in a career I've hated for most of the 12 years I've been in it. Sure, I work for myself, out of my house, and it's been "good" to me, but this stuff drives me bats*&t crazy. I hate it. And when I tell other people I hate it...the response is always "well, how much money do you make, sure seems like a good thing to me". They are idiots.

Guess what, though...even thought I hate it, I've got 4 files on my desk right now I've got to work on today. Got to get 'em out of here...I'm just killing time on WF before I start doing what I hate...instead of eagerly jumping into what I love.

At least I know the truth, now I just need to change my reality. Can't do it today...maybe Monday (Kiddo has a basketball tourny this weekend).

I told the wife just last night that for me to be happy moving forward, I HAVE TO QUIT what I'm doing right now, and work with my passion everyday.

      Thanks for the post...dynamite stuff!

John, thanks for that post. It's a comprehensive one and if there are people who do have an unending passion for something that they know/can identify, it's just the right guide to go out there and make a killing doing what they love.

My side of the story, however, is that I don't really seem to have passion for anything but marketing (and online marketing, specifically) where I have nothing of value to demonstrate as of today. I'm not wanting to be a guru anytime soon or sell IM stuff without knowing how to do IM. I want to do stuff in the non-IM niches online and then get into the IM niche(s). Having said that, I still believe there might be others like me who might actually have some passion but don't know how to identify it (yet). Would you happen to have some tips on how one goes about identifying those?

Oh and wait, I'm no pro with Photoshop but I just looooooooooove playing with it. Passion?! At times, yes.

I tried a bunch of shortcuts, loopholes, secret plans, all kinds of stuff, only to find that those all led back to the place where I had started from, just with less money.

I read posts here sometimes about folks who seem to be struggling inside. They need the secrets that will make them money by next Tuesday or they are taking massive action (but on the wrong stuff) or they are almost ready to launch their site just as soon as they . . .

It is neverending. What I think sometimes when I read those posts is that the people seem to be trying to be somebody they are not and don't really want to be. I have seen some people get results by faking it until they make it, but not too many.

The part that is missing from that phrase is that you fake it until you become that change. That is what the "making it" part of that adage means. And at that point, it is kind of like John is saying, you have passion for what you are doing.

Working in niches you don't like because they seem profitable can sometimes make you some money. But a lot of time not. Working with people you don't like can sometimes make you some money, but a lot of time not.

In those cases, you might as well have a job where somebody is telling you what to do all day.

Until I actually figured out what it was I truly enjoyed doing, what field I wanted to work in, I just bumbled around. But when I did figure that out, I found I couldn't wait to start in the morning and didn't want to go to bed at night. And I made a bunch of money.

Most excellent post, John. Thank you.
