Tough competition on first page with no onpage optimization. Should I go for it?
Hi,
I am thinking of going after a niche that has a good number of searches but the PR values for each site on the first page are all PR5-7. The backlinks on each site all exceed the 100 mark by a good margin. But none of the sites are optimized for the keyword: no keyword in title or description or URL, no H1 tags and none of them are listed in Yahoo Directories. Do you think this is a worthwhile venture?
