List Building - SPAM Laws

Just want to confirm with those that are building email lists, to satisfy the CAN-SPAM laws, I understand that you need to specify a physical address and an unsubscribe link in the emails that you send out to those that subscribed.

However do you need to specify your name as well?

You need to specify the site the email came from, I do NOT think there is a need for a name, but do wait for someone more experienced to confirm this.

I always include my name... But pretty sure you could use a pen name or the site name. There needs to be some refresher that makes them remember how they got on your list. Typically this would just be your name with your site address under it...

Don't know if this answers your question or not, but I'm sure someone will clarify this soon.

Does anyone have anymore suggestions on what they do for their email list building campaigns?
