If You Are Yet to Earn Your First $1000

Just wanted to say, if you are yet to earn your first $1000 online, don't be discouraged. Just keep applying things that you learned on this site, create quality content, and test ways to monetize your traffic.

I've been applying what I learned on this forum for the past year and took my site from $10 to $400 per month consistently for the past 3 months. Not to bad for working part time.

Word of warning. Avoid get rich quick, spammy methods. It might make you some quick cash, but it will not help you to build long term business.

I really do care about my site and helping people. I post quality content, and recent google update only helped my traffic. I am now getting over 300 visitors per day.

    Well done, you seem to be steadily developing your site, and getting good and consistent organic traffic to it.

    You're absolutely right - by taking this approach (i.e. get rich slow) you're building a real business, and not exploiting any crazy loophole or glitch which is very temporary.

    Now that you know what works, it wouldn't be a bad idea to start developing additional sites that have a similar structure and SEO strategy to what you already have.

      Thanks guys for your replies.

      Paul you are very rightt, I need to take what I learned from this site and apply it to next one. The difficulty that I am facing now is that I am dreading the ammount of work that it would take to implement that. It was easy with my first site because I was very passionate with the subject. I guess I should rely on outsourcing more now instead of doing everything myself

    A lot of people try to hype up their product to get people to buy it. For example, "Make $40000+ by just doing this one method!!" When people buy it, and don't get results anywhere near that claim, they get discouraged, and then quit.

      I like your approach. How long did it take you to get to $1500 per month level?

      It took me about a year part time to get to $300 per month.

    It just takes motivation and hard work, don't be put off by small failures. My first three months getting into IM I lost about $80 a month and on the fourth month I hit 4 figures in profit and I am getting ready to launch my own company now while still in school.

      $1000 is easy.

      I remember clearly how hard I thought it would be.

      "$1k in a month? With NO job? On the internet?
      How is that possible?!"

      The hard part in reality, is BELIEVING it's possible if
      you have never DONE it before.

      There's the rub. NOBODY who starts online earned
      $1k starting off. Nobody.

      You will THINK it's hard work. Until you MAKE that
      amount and then you're like...

      "damn. why did it take me 2 years to do THAT!?" it
      was so easy.

      And what happens next?

      You get USED to it. It's NORMAL. It's no longer wish-
      ful thinking. It's already happened.

      And it "bores you".

      Depending on the person, eventually you WILL want

    Started back in 2007 and took around 3 months to reach $1k a month, then the lightbulb came on

    It all takes a lot of hard work. There is no magic bullet. You have to develop a business plan and stick to it. I can remember the day I made my first sale...then 4 more sales came in that same day, I had my first $100 dollar day the same day I made my first sale! Then I continued to build on that success.

    If you can do it once, you can do it many times.
