Which Payment Processor?

Hi,

Can you suggest a good payment processor for me when I launch my product?

I was looking at ejunkie and being a person from India, none suits my requirements. Due to the recent Paypal limitations, using paypal is also not a good idea for me.

Any suggestions on which I can use?

Clickbank

I want to sell a main book and at the backend, I want to sell another product. So if I choose clickbank, I will have to pay set up fees 2 times?

Also, is clickbank payment processor brandable with our logo?

I have been doing research for a while and concluded CB to be the best option. Others are too much trouble.

  What made you say so? Google Checkout is available only in the US and UK. I tried and India is not there

  Payment processors will take charge of the financial transactions which will happen between you and your customers. It is just understandable for you to really want to be able to select the one which will be worth your trust. It already involves the money that you have worked hard for and it is imperative to choose a payment processor which will be efficient and dependable.

Clickbank buddy. Getting the product approved takes a few days, but after that working with Clickbank is seamless.

There is a problem in that. They deal with paypal. And when i want to pay affiliates, I should use massPay, which is disabled for Indian Paypal users!!!

There's a much bigger problem than that, too: the affiliates are dependent on the vendor for payment (major drawback to the vendor, if wanting to attract serious affiliates).

Not necessarily, no.

You can sell as many products as you like within one vendor account, provided they share one marketplace listing and one commission-rate. But in any case, a "second account product activation fee" there is only $29.95 (i.e. not $49.95 like the first one).

No, it isn't.

The difference to appreciate is that (contrary to the impression gleaned from many conversations in this forum) Clickbank isn't actually just a "payment processor". It's a retailer. People who buy that way aren't buying from you: they're actually buying from Clickbank.

  I recommend Plimus too. your customers have the option to pay through their PayPal balance too. So you will not loose sales. There are vast payment options for your customers to pay

Having used both CB and PDC, both have their pros and cons. Clickbank forces you to give refunds, not PDC. CB handles all the paperwork and payments, not PDC. CB has outrageours fees for vendors and affiliates, not PDC. CB IS a payment processor. PDC uses PayPal as processor.

I'd also look at e-junkie and PayPal itself. I guess the best one would still be CB as it's less work and a reputable company who's been in business for well over 10 years. Keep in mind tat any "payment processor" that uses PayPal gives you "traces" so come tax season, for example if you live in Texas or Illinois, you are liable for the collection of state taxes on sales because the customer is buying directly from you while with CB, people purchase from Clickbank, who purchases the product from you, so you're basically only dealing with ONE person (company) and your paychecks come from Clickbank, not those who purchase the product.

For example, you are selling product ABC and using CB as payment processor, John Doe visits your page and makes a purchase. Automatically, CB buys the product from you and sells it to the customer, so your client is actually CB, not John Doe.

Don't be confused: "Clickbank" is NOT a payment processor.

If you're in India, and have a product that you'd like to sell directly to the public, there are in fact many options out there. You may want to start out with AlertPay. PayPay is another hidden gem.

If you do a Google search for PayPal Alternatives India, you might be surprised as well as to what your options are!

At the moment, India is not very PayPal friendly at the moment due to their recent actions and limitations targeting your country. Good luck friend and best success!
