I need 100$ and I'm taking action. Here is what I am doing, any tips?

Amazon affiliates sites are great, but they're a slow build to get the money back out, and you really need money to invest for domain names, promotion etc. I'd say it's a good longer term strategy when you have money.

There's definitely potential with these ideas. I don't think there's a great market for proof reading, as many people just want quick content and don't see the value of it. Plus a lot of proof readers just charge too much, often that different from the cost of the original writing job.

Writing is an evergreen market. If you can write, I'd recommend you try product creation.

Another area that not many people look for work in is report formatting. It's one thing to have all the content, but someone still has to format it in into the right style to sell (or to be used in whatever way is appropriate). There's potential for work there.

Hi Matt, Amazon sites can be quite lucrative and it sounds like you're on the right track. Since you like to write, this is good because it will help you with most of your online efforts, such as writing product articles & reviews for your Amazon site(s).

To begin backlinking, I would suggest starting with article marketing with Ezinearticles, Squidoo, Hubpages, perhaps eHow, and other reputable information sites such as these. For example, if your Amazon site sells, lets say, Bicycles, then you can write a few nice and informative articles about different types of bicycles, perhaps an article about bicycle safety and good riding posture, etc.

Submit these articles to Ezinearticles, and add a link to your website in the "resource box" which is for just this purpose.

Create a Squidoo lens and perhaps a Hubpage using variations of your articles. These will gain additional exposure for your site and help to build quality backlinks.

For a quick $100, I would recommend selling a few items on Craigslist or (shudder) eBay, or you could offer a proofreading/editing service here on WF or Fiverr.

Do product reviews at Hubpages so you can get some Adsense income while you learn the ropes.

The most important thing you can do is figure out who the customer is first then find products on Amazon that they want to buy, then it's just putting them together.

Keyword Research, Intuition, and Established reviews will help you figure this out.

If a product is on Amazon and there are no reviews and it's not a new product that should tell you where not to start.

Coming here with a budget and the desire to forge a solid plan is a great first step. It's one that many people don't ever make, so pat yourself on the back for this.

It seems like you have a couple different things going on (I know how that is), be careful about spreading yourself too thin. Pick ONE strategy and see it through to the bank, only then should you scale up and add more income streams.

That said, you have stuff and the talent to work with. I'm a writer myself, and I started out with my own blogs on niches that I love. That's the slower route to earning cash through writing, though, and you can earn more faster by offering your writing services to others in need. Build yourself a website that explains your writing experience and gives approximate prices for your services. Yes, your own domain is ideal in terms of SEO, but a free blogging platform works fine if you're just starting out. You can apply for gigs on freelance sites like elance and odesk.

You can earn $100 by writing very quickly by using TextBroker. This costs you nothing out of pocket and is a great way to grab some coin if you're in a pinch.

The difference between writing for some clients or services like TextBroker and writing for your own sites is pretty straightforward: with TextBroker, you're exchanging time for money. With your own sites, you're setting up streams of passive income. That's why most writers prefer to write for their own sites. But, when we need money now, we can always turn to freelancing and such to get that instant financial boost.

In sum, you've got a lot of options. Choose ONE and stick with it. Even if you have 482394 different things that are "almost there," almost there doesn't make you money. Develop ONE thing that is there. Good luck!

Getting a regular job is by far the easiest and quickest way to get few hundred every month. Don't even bother with this internet stuff - or do it only on the side.

You won't get your money from Amazon for about 60 days after the month closes so that's not going to help in the short term.

You should offer writing services in the short term. You can advertise here on the warrior forum or use something like fiverr or the new writeswap that Brad Gosse just started.

Start offering article writing services on these forums and on fiverr. If you can write great articles you will have no problem finding work. It's the quickest way to make money online, you can do it in one day.

Something to think about...

Scenario 1. Offer your services to a dozen customers and write a dozen articles on the same niche. You make a few bucks and then the money stops until you find new clients.

Scenario 2. You create your own product in the same amount of time and the same amount of effort and you have something that you can sell over and over again.

I am curious why you would need stamps and envelopes when you can build your list online? Also why telemarketing? It often requires a number of calls to make a sale and is considered spam by many. Not even sure if it is allowed like it used to be.

I would agree with the other warriors that writing articles is probably the fastest way to earn that $100. Provide services here on the forum or Fiverr and you should be well on your way to getting that $100 ASAP.

Is there really nothing faster than Fiverr? 2 weeks isn't 'fast' to me....but it doesn't seem like there's anything faster for newbies. Other than ebay.

Write some packages of articles and sell them in packs of 5 here on the forum.
Or sell your services as a writer here, place an ad on other forums too. This should bring in some quick cash and should get you the $100 you need. Also take a look at the forum and see if any one needs to hire a writer short term.

I find amazon affiliates program tricky and definatily not the easiest way to make money, takes time and set up.

But...

You seem to be pretty accomplished. Everyone seems focused on 'articles', but why not offer product reviews, or ghostwriting, or honest testimonials, or blog posts, or press releases, or product creation, or or or...

...Differentiate yourself and turn your obvious skills to your advantage.

Good writers are in huge demand. Five cent article writers aren't...(well, of course they are, there's always a budget market...but it's not the market you should be targeting IMHO).

I can help you work at Constant Content, one of the best freelance websites, where you get paid around $25 - $35 for writing a short 400 – 500 words article. CC’s guidelines are very complicated. However, if you’ll pay attention to what they want, you can make a lot of money there, and in a short period of time.

You write well. You can become an excellent writer if you’ll read CC’s guidelines, if you’ll participate of the authors’ forum, etc. Send me a message if you are interested on working there, and I will teach you more details, like how to write your summaries, how to deal with customers’ offers, and more.

Since you are in such a difficult position, I advise you to care more about making money through writing. I don’t think that it’s a wise idea to focus on promoting your website. Getting traffic is very hard. You’ll delay selling your products.

There are a million other freelance websites where you can sell your articles, even if for only $3 - $10 (500 words, or longer).

If I didn’t have my own business (for already 5 years now), I would simply write articles for CC now that I discovered it, without spending money with my sites, autoresponder, writing articles for my blog, etc. and trying to get traffic. Constant Content already gets a lot of traffic everyday. You only have to be very productive and write about in-demand topics.

You can write articles for other people to get some money coming in. You were a little vague with what you are doing for your own IM stuff, but make sure that you keep working on that and improving it. You can write the articles for yourself and then make them into video, use the same content just in video format. You want to blast the articles and videos to the respective sites and watch your backlinks soar! Just an idea to get you going.

You're in need of some laser-targeted traffic. Try SEO out.

2) I've always enjoyed writing. I wrote for the high school and college newspapers and now regularly help friends by proof reading their essays. I feel like I could definitely begin doing this as a service to help me reach my goal but I don't really know where to begin. Is there income potential with proof reading/editing, or is it more on the writing side? Where did you writing warriors start and where are you now in relation to your initial goals?

I believe there's much more money to be made in the writing side. Start writing articles over here, at WF, or over at fiverr.

Matt, it's good that you have a very clear-cut and defined plan for the $100.

It sounds like you need the money quickly to get started on your telemarketing project, and if this is the case, I'd say offering your writing services to the IM sector would get you the $100 you need fairly quickly.

You could offer your writing services in the Warriors for Hire or Classifieds section (you could even do a WSO), and start off by offering a few free samples initially. Start your prices low for the first 10 orders or so, and then ramp it up to $7 or $8 per 500 word article. It shouldn't take you very long at all to pick up your $100 - I'd say with a bit of work and determination, you could get significantly more than that just offering your writing services here.
