Embedded YouTube Vids - Display the Start of The Vid NOT half way through?

Hope this makes some sense

I'm embedding a YouTube vid on a couple of my sites, and frnakly its making an otherwise pretty site look nasty

Does anybody know how to get the image that's displayed on the screen BEFORE the video is played

... to show the first frame of the vid, not a contextually odd frame that's ...half way through the movie?

      I'm also looking for help regarding this.

      I've tried changing the start 01 tag; then even a (&autoplay=1). But for some reason my main image in my video is showing something from half way into it. Please pm me with help if you know what to do, thanks
