Is it legal to insert your affiliate links in RSS on your site

Hello!
Risently I found a very good way to profit from blog . This method including automatik insertion of affiliate links in the RSS feeds on the site.
I just wonder is it legal ?

    Well, its certainly not against the law... though it may be against the terms of service for some of the rss directories.

    Yes it is, and not only can you add affiliate links but you can also put ads in there now. Google has an AdSense for Feeds program now.

    Are you talking about adding affiliate links to the RSS feed of your own site so that when it gets pinged round the RSS directories, your affiliate link is included with it?

      As has been said, it's worth checking the Terms and Conditions of the RSS feed's owner.

      The reason for doing this is that many sites which allow you to display their feeds on your site only allow it on the basis that you won't use their feeds for commercial gain.

      I think it is nesessery to ask permission from owner of the feeds to advertise on the blog with his feeds.
      But what to do if he use feeds from other blogs which did not give permissions .
      Also what to do with news feeds ?
