I'm a stay at home mom looking for a way to make some income at home. I'm really good at menial tasks. I've found I actually like filling out forms and such. I'm also okay at writing.

I am interested in SEO but it just seems so complicated I don't exactly know how to break into that, same with content writing for other people. It sounds like most people have the best luck with affiliate marketing. After reading around I was wondering if this sounds like a solid business model.

Write an e-book. (Haven't picked a niche yet.) Start out giving it away for free to make money via the affiliate link. Use that money for web hosting and a domain and set up a page. Maybe put up some articles relating to the same topic as the book and offer the book as incentive to join my newsletter, getting my email list started. Send out newsletters with an article and affiliate link. Post articles on different article hosting sites linking back to my page to increase my traffic.

Is that a good plan for success? It seems like something that I could branch out with and get a second niche once my first one is going well enough.

Also, about affiliate links, how exactly is the best way to work them into books so it doesn't sound like the whole book was just to sell that product? With this route would I also be advertising that product on my page?

Another thing... which tends to be more successful, affiliate marketing with the above model or selling my e-book and offering a report or article for signing up for the newsletter? Which tends to be easier for someone new to internet marketing?

I would really appreciate any input. I know it isn't much but in return I would be more than happy to link back to your site from my blog in a post explaining what I learn in this thread.

    Hi Amanda,

I'm a little confused by the above statement. Do you mean you are thinking of writing an ebook and then giving it away for free? I don't see how you would make money then for the hosting and domain.

    Please explain further. Thanks!

Writing your own e-book will probably do better in the long run for continued success. Affiliate marketing is easier, but in some ways harder to be successful at, and the income tends to be more up and down.

You also need to think through what other people are looking for. If you write an e-book about something that no one cares about, then you aren't going to be successful.

    Good luck

There are many of us who have given something away for FREE, but it is a tactic mainly reserved to build a list of targeted buyers with. Yes you can place affiliate links in your reports and they do work to generate income, but you will find selling your own products to your list will generate more income.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

First of all, avoid writing any ebook on making money online. The market is over saturated and you admit you don't know how to do it.

Write out a list of things that interest you (i.e. hobbies), and pick something off that last for your first attempt. Maybe you like watching movies? Then maybe put together an ebook on Netflix with your affiliate link in it.

As for writing it so it doesn't appear as a sales pitch, that just takes practice. Get people to review your ebook after you're taken your first swing at writing it.

What I would suggest is looking at how people are giving out ebooks on this site. Most of them ask you to opt-in to their mailing list, and that works fairly well if you maintain a quality newsletter (which can also result in a lot of money if done properly).

Suppose you create an ebook on watching movies online (i.e. Netflix) like I said above. Then your newsletter could maybe offer weekly reviews of shows, maybe include a 'deal of the week' type thing with a link to amazon (using your affiliate link of course) which has some really cheap movies that you found, etc.

But if you get into the whole newsletter business, make sure you send out regular emails on a consistent basis (i.e. every week, every 2 weeks, etc).

You have a good understanding of how things work. Well you know you have to pick a niche, but yeah once you do I don't see nothing wrong with using the methods you mentioned. Especially giving away a free ebook. As you may know many people use this method and it's a good one. Just take your time, work hard and stick to a plan and everything will work out. Good luck.

@laurie My thought was I could make money for hosting by giving away the e-book and hoping to make money off of the affiliate link within the book.

I enjoy writing so a continuing newsletter would be easy and probably fun for me as well.

What is the preferred way of selling e-books so the customer receives it as soon as they pay? I'm starting this all with $0 since my husband got laid off recently, but once I make a little money I'm more than happy to put it right back in to increase my profit.

Do I have any free options for making a website and mailing list?

The preferred way is usually Paypal. It's easy to setup, and you can have the ebook available instantly after they pay.

Getting a free website...well you can get free hosting some places, but not many. And a domain will run you $10/year for a .com. Though if you buy a .com through Godaddy I believe you can get free hosting (though their servers are very slow). You'd still have to build the site yourself.

As for mailing list software, there's PHPList which is free. Not very user friendly, but it does the job. I'm sure there's others out there that work too, but most people use AWeber (monthly fee though).

Paypal is free, so that's the best option early on, at least.

Awardspace offers free hosting with no ads. Not my favorite host, but if you have no money, it's a start. My host has scripts for a mailing list, but I'm not sure if Awardspace offers that or not.

Mailchimp is a free mailing list provider, but only up to 500 subscribers.

A lot of people I'm sure will disagree with me on this point, but I usually use .info instead of .com I get them for $.89 at Godaddy.

If you do start making money, I would invest in a reliable paid host and mailing list provider ASAP, because free services tend to be very limited. As always, you get what you pay for.

Can I point out it's against the TOS to use mailchimp for affliate marketing. They will close your account if you do use them to do so and you'll lose your list.

      Amanda,

Sorry, I didn't get that the first time:-( That does sound like a good plan. As far as which would do better - writing your own ebook or selling affiliate products - I can only speak from personal experience. I sell many more of my own ebooks than I do affiliate products.

Affiliate marketing tends to be easier to get started in because you don't have to create the product yourself. But in the long run, I think you'll do better with your own product (as long as it's in a niche that spends money.) That said, there's nothing wrong with doing a combination of both strategies - that is what I do.

You could set up a Wordpress site - free for the platform, but you still will have to pay for hosting and your domain.

I am not familiar with any free mailing list providers - there probably are others who can advise you on that. I use Aweber, but they have a monthly fee.

      I wish you the best!

Thanks for the help guys. It was getting to the point where reading more articles and books was becoming more information overload than helpful. Honestly I just want a simple business model to get started with since I can always expand once I've made some money.

Do you happen to have any suggestions for good start-up money so I can get a domain and hosting? I've got some links up on my blog and I'm getting started on advertising that but I'm not really counting on making money off of it, and I do have ChaCha but I can't get the cash I earned off of there unless I find a way to open a bank account with my not so great history with banking. Oh, and about hosting, I haven't had my own website since back during geocities. Do many hosting companies allow multiple domains or do they charge more for that? Thinking ahead for if I decide to expand into a second website eventually.

For selling an ebook, look at e-junkie. If you can find a good coupon code, you can get up to six months of free service. They host the product on their own server, so you don't need to worry about setting up a download page on your own website. You'll need a Paypal account for e-junkie, but that's free too.

For building a list, look at iContact. Just saw another post on the WF that iContact has a free option for people starting out.

You seem to know the process pretty well.

I advise you just do it! Take action immediately.

For 10 dollars a month you can have a website up with a cart that distributes your ebooks upon purchase.

Learn how the system works as you go and improvise. You would be surprised how easy it actually is.

    Good luck

You said you like filling out forms and such?

Then the easiest method I can think of for you to get started is look for data entry work on freelance sites (and there's a ton of those jobs). They don't pay well ($2-3/hour would be considered good pay for data entry), but it works.

Data entry ranges from filling out forms, doing research and putting data into excel files, etc.

You could also get article writing work, pay works out to about $4-5/hour depending on how fast and good you are at writing.

Here's a bunch of freelances sites you can get setup on:

    http://www.odesk.com/
Elance | Outsource to freelance professionals, experts, and consultants - Get work done on Elance (this one is mostly north americans, so the pay tends to be much higher than others)
vWorker.com: More capable, accountable and affordable. Guaranteed.

Ya, I make about $2.50/hr answering questions for ChaCha. Only problem is you need a bank account to get money your money and when I was younger my mother overdrafted my bank account pretty badly and since then I cannot open a new account so my money is trapped. I have around $20 on there from the day I spent on there that I would love to be able to use to pay for my hosting.

Well vWorker.com pays out via paypal or western union. I'm pretty sure odesk.com pays through paypal as well.

A Paypal account is free, and you can withdraw into your bank account. So you might as well set one up and link it to your bank account.

    Hi Amanda,
It sounds like you are good at writing and organising. You can offer your services as a VA or maybe a writer of articles / wriiten products to others. You can do that on the above mentioned sites of by posting in the warrior for hire section. That should give you the seed money to start your business. I recommend you use a paid host like hostgator, a paid autoresponder like aweber and look at ejunkie to securely deliver your ebook. Most of these providers have a first month special when you sign up.
    Good luck.

From what I gather, you're on a tight budget so I would recommend you start with free platforms... Wordpress.com, Blogger.com, Squidoo.com and HubPages.com and interlace them all togther so you have your own FREE mini-net so to say. The more you work with those, the more authority you gain, Google LOVES those platforms andthey are easy as heck to use. I find that Squidoo's a lot of fun, it's got the "gaming" aspect to it.

Word of advice, if you're going to get hosting DO NOT get a free/cheap host, you're just asking for trouble. Get used to using wordpress, it's by far the easiest to use CMS out there and most hosts offer one click installs. You can definitely write your own e-book but I'd recommend you promote someone else's stuff to begin with, it will definitely give you money faster, most e-books today sell for less than $10. Videos and software have a much higher perceived value.

Spend time around here in the WF, you'll learn a lot and there's a lot of very wealthy members who're always willing to help out and answer questions

  • Hi Amanda. Have you researched about the parenting niche? Perhaps there's a profitable micro niche there somewhere...

Moms working at home and have multiple day jobs or businesses could need advice, tips, strategies, techniques, products and services that can help them balance their priorities and take good care of their kids. They could be regularly going to online communities to participate in discussions between like-minded people with similar needs and problems and to niche experts who can help them solve their related problems and satisfy their relevant needs. They may need educational video games and toys that can keep their kids busy and happy while learning new things in the process. There are a lot of good affiliate products like these.

You can develop an ebook and sell it on your website. You can develop another ebook and offer it free on your website. They can download your free ebook after signing up to your mailing list. You can then develop your onsite content...

    A.I.D.A.

Attention = Your onsite content should grab the attention of your target viewers. Interest = It should entice them to keep on viewing the content pages of your website. Desire = It should make them desire more of your content and make them feel the need to look for options to conveniently update themselves each time you post new content for them. Action = It should make them sign up to your mailing list to download your free ebook and get the benefits it offers.

A = Your free ebook should grab the attention of your mailing list members. I = It should entice them to keep on reading the pages of your ebook. D = It should make them desire more of your beneficial content. A = It should make them think and feel they need to buy your paid ebook to get additional benefits not found elsewhere.

A = Your paid ebook should grab the attention of your buyers. I = It should entice them to carefully view and absorb the things it offers. D = It should make them desire the benefits offered by your affiliate products you reviewed and recommended on some pages of your ebook. A = Your reviews should make them purchase your affiliate products.

    A.I.D.A.

Your onsite content should act as effective previews to the benefits offered by your free ebook. Your free ebook should act as an effective preview to the benefits offered by your paid ebook. Your paid ebook should act as an effective preview to the benefits offered by the affiliate products you reviewed and recommend on your paid ebook. Your newsletters and newly added content should act as effective methods to help them maximize the benefits they get from your affiliate products...

    Traffic Funneling

Hang out where your target audience hangs out. Build mutually beneficial relationships with them in those online communities. How? Build your reputation in those online communities as a friendly, niche expert resource of beneficial info, advice, techniques, strategies, content, products and services. How? Help them with relevant questions and problems they posted on those online communities...

Talk to other webmasters with websites that your target audience may most likely find appealing, especially websites with top ranking pages for your target keywords. Strike mutually beneficial joint venture partnerships with them. You can ask them if they would want to syndicate/publish your content on those pages, in exchange for links on those pages that point to your other onsite content pages offering benefits not found in your syndicated/published content...

Great to know you found my ideas useful. Yes: I always recommend this: Specialize. Focus your skills, knowledge and experience in specialized areas where a lot of people have lots of needs and problems they can't satisfy nor solve on their own. That's your value: A valued asset of those people, because you can help them in areas they can't help themselves on their own. And most likely:

Only a few people have those specialized skills, knowledge and experience. Your value goes up as the number of people with the same specialties goes down. One way to separate yourself from the people with the same specialties: Develop your content, products and services in your own unique style and package it in ways not found elsewhere. Integrate into your content, products and services your own relevant sets of observations, inferences, test results, actual experience, theories, opinions and perspectives. Always aim your content, products and services at providing your specific target audience with benefits useful for their relevant needs and problems...

Hi Amanda. You most likely nailed a profitable micro micro niche there: Work at home moms or those with one or two day jobs and businesses struggling to juggle their priorities while taking good care of their kids and maintaining their health and body figure, simultaneously. All that stress makes their needs more immediate and their problems more urgent. All those benefits they could gain from effective solutions make those solutions more desirable for them. I'm confident you'll do a whole lot better in helping them out with your content, advice, info, tips, strategies, techniques, products and services, than others without specialized skills, knowledge and experience in those things...

I have looked at your blog and it looks ok for a newbie and I think you should continue to add
more content in your particular niche. If you enjoy writing, I think you should do well in the search engines. Google love original content. Here are some ideas that may help to choose your niche as there are plenty of fish kicking out there. In other words find a profitable niche where there are hungry buyers.
The next step is to create your webpage which you already have and then build your list.
The only way to build your list is by having a squeeze page on your site. This is the only way to make money online. Once you have built your list you now have customers to send your e-book to or promote related products to your list.

The next step is traffic traffic and more traffic to your website.

some ideas: Evergreen Markets of constant flow of niches where people are buying. A multi million dollar industries.

1 Health - Diet, Weight Loss, Vitamin Supplements, Medical Issues, Quit Smoking, Alternative Remedies, Headache Relief, Childrens Health, Keep Fit, Increase Energy

2 Wealth - Working From Home, Forex, Business Opportunities, Internet Marketing, Public Domain, How To Buy Forclosures/Repossessions, Stay At Home Mums, Starting Your Own Business.

    3. Lifestyle - Mind, Body and spirit, Personal Development, Pets, Baby Boomers, Self Improvement, Dating, Online Study Courses, Computers, Alternative Energy, Home Care, Going Green.

It also helps to find a mentor who can guide you through the process of succeeding.

Join Clickbank and become an affiliate for any products you want to promote.

My last advice: Use your talent Amanda. Keep writing, publish your work on ezinearticles.

Thank you Wendy! That was all very helpful.

Currently there are two things I'm trying to figure out.

    1. What are social bookmarking sites besides reddit and digg I can submit certain blog entries and articles to?

    2. What are good places to post articles I write to? Preferring ones where I can put links in the articles or at least a profile where I can link back to my blog/website.

Googled "top social bookmarking sites" without quotes. Here's the first result...

I recommend publishing your articles on your website, have it indexed by submitting an updated sitemap.xml to your Google Webmaster Tools account, then going to contextually relevant, heavily trafficked websites with top SE ranking pages about topics similar to yours. You can submit your articles for syndication, or talk to their webmasters and ask if they would want to publish your content pages for the benefit of their target audience, of course with links pointing to your onsite content pages with beneficial content not found in the material, or submit the RSS feeds of your articles to popular RSS directories. These sites can include article directories, Web 2.0 sites, online communities and other custom websites...

You can also repurpose your articles to best suit the viewing preferences of different groups included in your target market. Some prefer reading serious academic articles and Web 2.0 submissions, others personal blog posts and forum threads, a few want PDF reports or ebooks, others need interactive presentations or some could like videos. This list can go on and on...

Ezine is by far the best article directory. Most allow you to put your link in the article, some allow pictures and video in the article as well. Some will even create a video for you from the article that you have written and it is not considered duplicate content as the bots don't see the text in videos. You can get people here on the forum to post them for you and to the social bookmarking sites as well. Save some time and money and get great links from it!

I also am a newbie. Definetly have information overload! That being said however, I will eventially succeed at this. I am trying my hand at affiliate marketing. I have built a free website on weebly. I have submitted articles on my chosen niche to Ezine,Article Dashboard, Article Alley, and a few others. I have bookmarked my site. I have pinged my site. and I have built a blog. Still not getting traffic. Am I missing something? I do not yet have a squeezepage which I am going to create. I do understand that I need to build a list. I have been plugging away for about 3 months now. Mostly reading what I can and just recently trying to apply it. Any input would be appreciated. I really need to start making some cash so that I can continue to expand in other areas.

Hi Lorco52. I recommend going where your target traffic hangs out online. They could most likely be going to:

      1. Online communities, such as Web forums, social network portals and blog networks. They expect the relevant content of those websites to be useful in satisfying their immediate needs and solving their urgent problems. They expect to talk to others with similar needs/problems in those online networks. They also expect to talk to experts who can help them with their specific questions and problems which they can't solve on their own...

      2. Top page results for relevant keyword searches they do on Google and other search engines. They expect updated and relevant content on those top page results. They most likely think and feel the content of those pages will be helpful in satisfying their immediate needs and solving their relevant problems.

      3. Websites of people with specialized expertise in relevant areas. They expect the content of those websites to be useful, educational, informative and entertaining for them.

What I'd do is go to these online places and build mutually beneficial professional relationships with my target traffic. How?

I'll help them with their relevant questions and problems. I'll establish my reputation as a friendly professional with specialized expertise in areas relevant to their needs, questions and problems...

I'll also build mutually beneficial joint venture partnerships with other experts in relevant specialized areas. I'll negotiate guest authoring and blogging deals. They'll have content from me that'd be useful for their daily viewers. Of course my content will have links pointing to pages of my website with content offering additional benefits not found in the content I used for the guest authoring/blogging deal. I'll also negotiate onsite and mailing list ad placement deals...

@AmandaT and Lorco52. All the details given by others and Marx is called as On Page and Off Page SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Writing an ebook and doing seo are two completly different process, yet related. The process is not difficult to follow but it requires time and effort. Do not expect quick results and simply submitting your data to some sites won't make a big difference.

Blog commenting and forum discussions with signatures are very good methods but not everything. As the gurus say 'The money is in the list', joint Ventures will bring the real leads to you once you have some traffic on your site, or a small list to trade with.

With the new Farmer update on googles algorithm, it is said that the sites like hubpages, ezinearticles et cetera will have to fight with others for keeping their positions in coming times (no need to worry right now). The reason for mentioning this? so that you don't entirely depend on articles. Learn SEO, start using SEO in your articles. Learn Keyword Research and start using those keywords in your articles and your website.

Build backlinks on High Page Rank Sites using methods described by Marx and a whole lot more.

Most importantly, Never get discouraged. I want to keep this post simple and short so I will stop here. Just remember one thing, don't expect doing this and doing that will do the trick. An overall effort is required to make the money.

As a beginner you will go through that stages of information overload and you will procrastinate.

You'll start thinking of different ideas and hoping it will work or sometimes you start on new projects and leaving it unfinished. The only solution is focus on one niche at a time (very important to remember this) and make sure you don't get distracted. Stick with one goal only and when you're ready, move along to the next. Everything you will do needs patience so take that time to learn and not think how much you can earn at this moment.

Create a time plan so at least you know you're target and what you want to accomplish.
If everything you do does not make you money. Start all over and evaluate what you have done and think what you need to improve on. One last advice - Strengthen your weaknesses.

    This is a great thread!

Amanda, you've got the right idea, start small and manage your expectations, it is the same as starting any business.
You should choose your niche, if your just starting out make it easy on yourself and choose something that interests you.
You might like to create your own e-book on something like you mentioned, thats a great way to get opt-ins.. Be prepared to spend some money on a domain and hosting, grab up an aweber.com account or something similar. Be very kind to your fellow Warriors and we may promote out for you.

    Good luck

I think it sounds like a good business model. You can definitely make money by writing for other people - but at the same time you are getting paid to build their business when you could be building your own. One thing you could do is write for other people for a couple months to get some practice and learn the business - pay close attention to what they're doing and having you doing.

But just remember this is a business that takes time and you will run into some frustrating times but you have to keep moving forward.

I would write a very informative ebook on something people are looking for and build a list with it by giving it away. I would also build a site in that niche, but a list will serve you well for years.

You sound like you are suffering from newbie overload - so many options, which way to go?

Rather than focus on individual techniques, start by focusing on your business objectives.

e.g. What niche or target market are you interested in.

Then start building a business using different techniques around that. You will then start building a more solid business than by jumping from one thing to another.

e.g. You start as an affiliate using SEO, build a list & then write an ebook for that niche. All your work will then build on each other & eventually snowball.

      Hi Amanda,

An ebook is a great way to make money. But, it takes time regardless of the approach that you take.

If you're interested in making immediate cash here are 2 suggestions:

1/ You said that you enjoy writing. Offer your services here on the forum for other warriors.

Check out the threads of others offering this service to get an idea of what people of charging for their services.

2/ You can offer services on Fiverr including writing articles for 5 bucks.

      Best of luck,

Can you get a prepaid debit card at Rite Aid/CVS/Walgreens/etc.?
Had a few dollars left on one and bought my domain with it no problem.

Congrats on the first paying job! Would you be willing to share whether it was from a private contact/one of the bid sites/etc.?

      1) First of all, choose a niche (it could even be a market) you are interested in and know things about or at least are willing to learn.

      2) Go to clickbank and see what products are selling well in this category. Notice their topic and their format in particular.

      3) Start hanging around in forums (focusing on your niche) and take notes on what people are asking most of the time. These questions are the basis of your product!

      4) Use these questions (problems or challenges) as a quide for your product : Keep it juicy, sweet and simple.

      5) Set aside a few hours per week to work as an affiliate marketer, so that you keep the money rolling in, while you learn the ropes and you create your own product.

      6) Create your own website (targeted to your niche) and offer a freebie to your visitors (answering a burning question is a good recipe for this) so as to capture their email addresses. Make your freebie extremely valuable (it doesn't have to be long) to make them more than willing to opt in.

      7) Send another freebie to your list, as it grows. Ideally, a few days after they have opted in. Unadvertised bonuses work wonders!

      8) Start promoting other people's products systematically (but not everyday) to your list. Make sure to provide solid content and thoughtful nuggets in your in-between mailings to them.

      9) Ask your subscribers what they need: Another killer blueprint for your own product!

      10) Create your first product, while earning through affiliate marketing. Your product can even include your affiliate links for useful products by other vendors. But only if they are a good compliment to your content and really helpful. Oh, and don't go over the top with these links: It can become irritating!

      11) Promote your product to your list. Offer a few review copies for testimonials and give the rest of your subscribers the chance to purchase your product on a discount for a limited time.

      12) Start promoting your product all over the internet: By writing and submitting articles, uploading videos, communicating with people in forums (you can always suggest your own product as a solution to their problem, right?), on even promoting it on Facebook, Twitter and other social platforms.

      13) Lather, rinse and repeat until you reach your financial goal!

      I hope it helps!

Amanda, I am very impressed by you! Keep your head high and strong and you'll get where you want to be in no time. I see you've started on fiverr, which is a great way to make more seed money. If you haven't already, open a paypal account. They don't require you to have a bank account connected, but I think it helps. Later on, you can apply for a paypal debit card, in which case paypal will act as your bank. My mom has one and we use it everywhere! Gas, food, even cash withdrawals. We just have to make sure that there's money in there

You may need to get access to a bank account later on. Perhaps you have family members that can help with this.

PS: When you decide to purchase hosting, I have a coupon for one free month at a small orange . com. Its 'sodevious1' for $5 off (they have plans that cost this much per month) and 'sodevious2' for 15% off.

PPS: If you want to write an ebook, you could always write a short one and sell it on fiverr!

PPPS: Tip: Always reuse content! One article can be stretched out! For instance, lets say you write an article on picking the safest stroller, the article can be published to your blog with affiliate links, then you can take that content, change some stuff around, add some more sentences and post it on squidoo, also add affiliate products (squidoo is great for affiliates) and you could also spin the article again and post it to ehow or hubpages! That's two or three backlinks to your blog and three affiliate links!

make sure you do your research before you enter a niche. You need to make sure it is a commercial decision and that the niche has buyers in it.

If I was starting out afresh as you are I would go to Ed Dale's free course called the Challenge http://www.challenge.co
and once you have gone through all of that - come back to this thread and let me know because now it is time to go more advanced.

There are so many different monetisation models on the internet from lead generation, to membership sites to affiliate marketing but you need to choose the model that fits you and I feel after doing Ed's free course you will be in a better place to decide

    I hope this helps

Amanda, I noticed you in different threads looking for advice.

I think it is good to explore all your options.

Remember though, once you find your niche, focus on it and close your ears to other ideas until you've put your effort into it.

Amanda, it looks like you've made a lot of progress since you opened the thread. Congratulations!

I know Commission Junction pays with checks, and Amazon gives you the ability to get your commission as gift certificates. Kstark has a good idea about using prepaid debit cards from the store. When you start buying online, you might consider that a more secure option than your paypal debit card when you qualify for it.

Squidoo is a really good place to cut your teeth on learning what works and what doesn't for affiliate marketing, and you can sell your ebook there and link to your blog/website.

    Good luck!

    Cheers,

Hi and welcome to the forum, your plan sounds good, giving out a free eBook to build a list is how many super affiliates started out, and as long as the list feels they are getting value for the freebies you have given them they are more likely to click on your affiliate link
