What am I doing wrong? (noobie)

A lot of guides and everything I see involve having a site, having people go to my site and then purchasing items. I don't know how to explain really...but I don't want me own site.

I have been using mobile ads that I created mobile squeeze pages for myself and once they enter an e-mail sends them an e-mail promoting the clickbank products I have been using. So far it is costing me a lot of money with a 0% success rate so far.

I just don't know what to do anymore. A lot of people say keep trying and not to give up, but when I am currently having a 0% success rate I dunno what to do.

This is what I have done so far. (an img of my campaigns) http://i522.photobucket.com/albums/w...ayer/admob.jpg

Now the first 5 things on there are all from peerfly. Look at my total cost on those, and I only made back a total of $16.90

The acne cure is an ad I created using aweber to promote a clickbank product. I got a total of 1 lead from it, and 0 purchases.

Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong here?

It's very hard to tell what the problem is without knowing a lot more about the campaign. Who have you been targeting, what do the squeeze pages look like, what's on the squeeze pages, what are the offers you are sending them, etc, etc.

If you are getting no leads then it probably means you are either targeting the wrong people so they are not interested in your offer, or your squeeze page is not very well designed or written - it may even be a combination of the two.

But again, I can only guess at this without having all the information at hand.

I'm with Will... although I have to say that acne wouldn't be my first niche to target. What age group gets the most acne? How much money do they have to spend on books about curing acne? I really don't know anything about the niche so I'm just talking off the top of my head... and maybe out of another part of my body?

So those FREE $1000 WalMart Gift Card and FREE Restaurant gift certificate campaigns are going to squeeze pages where you are offering that to users to input their email?

What in the world are you going to sell these people from Clickbank?

Lets see... what do we know about these users... #1 they're mobile users, #2 they're looking for something free and #3 they will submit their email.

These users will NEVER BUY ANYTHING. You're wasting yout time and money trying to get them to buy.

You need to look at a market -> message -> product match, which you dont have right now.

If they act on mobile and they want free, then give them something free (or with a soft delay on payment like a mobile purchase (but DO NOT MARKET AS FREE)) Why not look at mobile offers or email submit offers?

Or even just join a network and send them to actual email submit offers?

Just dont hustle them into signing up for a promo you're never going to send out.

Don't buy into the hype of making money from mobile marketing through cpa offers. It just doesn't work. The only potential money making use it has is selling marketing services to local businesses which involves what most people term as 'work'. Expecting any sort of returns on these mobile cpa offers or from the list building side of it will result in nothing but disappointment.

I thought something very similar several years ago. It went like this:

"A lot of guides and everything I see involve having a job, actually showing up to my job, and then doing work. I don't know how to explain really...but I don't want me own job."

Better to place adsense ads and some revenue from there.
Mobile ads not work as expected all time.Mostly they search for free contents.

Mobile marketing is meh. You'll also want to strengthen your relationship with the people in your list so they are more likely to buy from you. I wouldn't suggest offering products in the first email. Also make sure you include promotions and whatnot.

My advice to you? Realize that success rarely comes the first time you try. If this campaign you are running is working you have several options. Are there other similar campaigns running that are profitable? If so what's different between yours and theirs?

Don't take a failed campaign or project personally. A project failing doesn't make you a failure. It just means that particular project didn't work out, so get cracking improving and testing to find what works, or move on to the next project.

Failure will become one of your best friends, if you stick around and work on your business.

It has only ONE reason: you targeted the wrong audiences.

Way to fix it: find the right "keyword". It should not have "free" in the search terms. If you are searching for free stuff, will you buy? 99.9999999999999999% you won't buy - when you see the price tag, you escape - that is it.

i always thought this was a waist of time in my hey day.

But it really is about this, and when i got this to work sales went up.

      Fancy that?

Remember we all use google and you will want to rank for the keywords you are typing in google. Think, if I was my prospect what would I be wanted to search for in google...with quotes and without them.

That was the biggest breakthrough for me. Just sayin!

IMO. Maybe it will give you a consumer point of view.

Personally view, I don't like the mobile ads, its annoying, takes up the view on the screen. Too many invertant clicks because they get in the way as your playing a game or surfing the web. Last thing I want is an ad on my screen that's sometimes difficult to get rid of.

As an Im'er, it might be good for brand awareness, but I've seen little value in marketing my web properties. How many people will actually spend time entering their email into a form? You might need somekind of auto capture, so it prepopulates the email for them, they just say 'ok' or submit.

You have learned what doesn't work, tweak it and find what does or find a new approach. You have to keep at it until you find something that works. What else have you tried?

As someone said above, relationship with the list is important before you make a sale. for example follow these steps

    steps

1)buy that acne click bank product
2)Rip it off and make it in to two parts
    3) give the first part for free
    4) Send them to full product page(they might or might not buy)

    5) or Ask them to send this to their friends if they want the full product free.
    6) find another similar offer in the same niche and start over again with the same prospect.

    7) Rinse and repeat.

If you follow this advise, I bet you gonna make serious cash. This applies to all the products.

    Cheers..
