I have a New Domain - What to do?

I have a website where I currently have a shopping cart and run it as an online business, and have been slowly optimizing it to rank higher. I recently purchased a domain name for a product I would like to carry, it doesnt receive a ton of keyword searches per month but enough to justify building a site. Should I have a one page site that sells the products and redirects anyone who wants to buy to my existing site or a one page site that people can purchase through? Or something totally other than that? Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

I would keep in the back of my mind the fact that I might want to sell the website some day to someone else.

If I create it as a site all-unto-itself... I can easily sell it to someone else... at the same time, you can have advertising on your new site leading to your older site. So you have a winning situation no matter which way the wind blows.

    Just my 2 cents worth...

The best thing to do is to make your site for the niche and then advertise the product on your site. Products come and go and your site should still be relevant to list another product in the same niche.
