Is the header on the PayPal payment page important when someone buys? Right now theres the ugly name of the company which for most people will just look like some strange word.

Does anyone know how to change the header putting the website name there?

Thanks in advance!

You can change it in your profile section of Paypal, and yes, it does make a difference - at least for selling products other than information - that's where I find the effect is strongest...

Yes, it makes a difference, it inspires more trust to the client.
For adding a paypal header banner, just go to profile, Checkout page and add a new page.

Agreed. I have more conversions when I use the paypal header. Cheers.

I'm using two products with the same account. I'm using the PayPal API for payments - any ideas how I can define the page I want to be used?

    Thanks

Steve is right, I believe you head into Profile and click My Selling Preferences and then Payment Pages. This is what it sais there: "Allow PayPal payment pages to look like my own website."

I think regardless of what type of products you're selling, it never hurts to make things unique so why not change it :0)

    Hope that helps.

P.S. If your PayPal account still shows the old interface you might find that setting somewhere else but I believe its called roughly the same.

Thanks the replies, I've seen that you can add images but it is still showing the company name, isn't there anywhere to show the website URL instead?

    Thanks

Anyone else notice how in IE8 the Paypal checkout page now jumps down a ways and blocks the user from seeing the header/logo unless the user were to scroll up? This is somewhat defeating the purpose of being able to have a logo in there wouldn't you think? :-)

If I'm not wrong, I'm pretty sure you need a business account to change that header.

I know you can change it, but I'm pretty sure you need a business account. I've already seen some others talk about how to change it so I'm not going to be explaining it; it's pretty straight forward. You can even find it with a simple google search.

I agree to BEN ... You should have and simply upgraded to Business Account.
