Hello warriors,

I am working on my website and I was wondering if the images on my website look okay to you.

I am reffering to the images in the portfolio. I saved them in lower resolution as to save loading time and I want to know if they look okay to you.

Ok guys...thanks to your suggestions I made some improvements to the site:

"The spaces between some words under the buttons labeled "graphics," "video" and "custom work" are too wide." - Problem Fixed!

"Looks good man. One thing I did notice is that you misspelled portfolio as "portofolio" " - Problem Fixed

"The logo is the least attractive thing on your site, to many elements, to small and hard to see..." - I will have a new logo to the site in a day or two

However, your HOME button looks broken in Chrome. It looks fine in Firefox. - Problem Fixed

Any other mistakes that you can see guys so I can fix them? Thank You very much for helping me.

I love how your website looks! Nice buttons, nice graphics, nice drop down menus, and blue is my favorite color! There's just one thing though. The spaces between some words under the buttons labeled "graphics," "video" and "custom work" are too wide. But overall, the site looks great!

Under the button graphics, the words at the end of each paragraph are spaced so that only 3 or 4 words are on each line. That happens sometimes when you justify the text, although I've never been able to figure out why, myself.

And the HOME button looks broken to me, as well.

Other than that, it looks awesome, IMO. Great job!

  I use Chrome and Firefox 3.6.11.
  
  Also, when I click the HOME button in Chrome, a message pops up and asks me if I want to launch Skype. That doesn't happen in Firefox.
  
  Some folks use Chrome, so you might want to take that into consideration.

The images are great. It's good also that you mention they are low resolution and why at the top of the page.

As for the text on the home page, I wouldn't center it or add an indent at the beginning of the paragraph. Check out some other similar sites for ideas...

But your images are great!

Marian,

The graphics quality is fine but like cyberdenizen, I see the text justified and therefore multiple spaces between some words... IE8 and FF4.

Just check the css - you probably have a justify formatting in there.

Even better, I did it for you - you have a div tag that says "align=justify" that wraps your three paragraphs of text below the graphical buttons.

You may want to double check your cufon implementation in Firefox 4 though...

Your "Home" button is broken up as well as some of the other text elements...

You're definitely on the right track...

I'd "second" the idea of touching up the logo to reflect the existing quality of the rest of the site.

Just as far as the graphics go, they look great. You haven't lowered the resolution or the quality too much for the web.

The justify effect is always a problem with narrow text fields. You need it wide before it starts looking good. I don't use it unless I have about 600 px of width to work with. Even if it looks good in one browser, the next browser might substitute a different font and that changes how many words can fit on each line.

Great site, the menu highlighter looked a little cutoff in firefox 4.0, but other than that everything is cool. I am preparing for launching a WSO of such visually cool websites.
