Interesting attempt to get a famous person's attention

I ran across this auction today...

Rob Dyrdek CALL ME!! SKATEBOARD INVENTION Patent Drama | eBay

Its not really an auction at all but more like a note posted on a public bulletin board (ebay).

The action is an attempt to get one specific person's attention and get in contact with them.

I would think that picking up the phone, and writing letters, would be easier but its an interesting method of trying to get someone's attention.

Heck the guy might try stapling a $100 bill with his phone number in a letter and asking Rob to call him with the $100 for 5 minutes prepaid and he just might get a better result.

Creative none the less.

For those of you who do not know who Rob Dyrdek is... he's a pro skater/entrepreneur with a reality show called the "Fantasy Factory."

That is a pretty creative idea. I'm wondering if a press release regarding the auction would garner any more attention?

Thinking outside the box like that is what separates you from the crowd. As long as he isn't breaking any TOS rules it's a bit of creative thinking that might just work for him.

I love it. Be interesting to know if he gets a response.

After watching the way Rob throws around his money on his TV shows I think the most probable outcome would be that Rob instead used the money to wipe his (_(_)

I don't think he would jump for $100

I like the outside of the box thinking though - worth a shot.
