Do You Give Kindle Rights To Your PLR?

Today I had someone ask me if I give kindle rights with my PLR. I had never thought about Kindle rights before as I really don't know much about Kindle.

If I gave kindle rights does that mean that they could publish the work on Kindle as is?

My basic rights are the articles can be used as is but cannot be resold unless they are rewritten, so I'm thinking that I would say no to kindle rights unless it is rewritten first.

Since this is an area I'm not too sure on I wanted to get other opinions on it. If you are a PLR writer do you, or would you, give kindle rights to your work?

Also, do you give rights for your work to be published in a different language? I guess publishing in another language is rewriting the work so I'm ok with that, but would love other opinions on it anyway

    Sheryl,

The Kindle marketplace is now an attractive one for many internet marketers...

    PLR is especially popular.

A lot of that is due to the fact that many of them have been sold on the idea that cut-and-pasting PLR content to Kindle is going to make them rich.

As someone who is writing and selling PLR content...letting buyers publish to Kindle probably means more sales for you. And what will likely happen is about 5 or 6 people will all post it to Kindle and fight over the 1 or 2 occasional sales that happen a month...if they are lucky.

It's definitely something that those who create and sell PLR content need to put in their licenses and terms these days.

Thanks Ed - I hadn't really thought of it that way - increase the value of my PLR. Something to think about anyway - thanks!
